They were in disbelief over the magnitude of this situation.
But even more than that, they felt incredulous as they gazed at Davis.
No matter what stage it was, the very peak they had seen a person reach in prowess was their husband and not any other person. They were very proud of that fact and could hold their heads high anywhere, no matter their status. Still, it would be fine if he increased his maximum prowess by a level even to them. Two levels more is understandable if he sacrifices his entire essence, but to increase it by five or six levels was beyond the realm of comprehension.
