Davis and his group flew past the Earth Dragon Clan's people, heading deeper into the sinkhole.
They could see some tunnels that had been carved upon them while many auras could be felt entering those tunnels. However, he didn't take those tunnels but continued heading deeper into the sinkhole to see where it ended.
However, as they crossed the thousand-meter mark, the freezing atmosphere turned vicious and searing, making them feel like they were going to burn to death instead.
"This is the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley's specialty. The gases fuming here are cold but cause burns and slow down movement as though trapped in a burning quagmire. You feel constricted and would eventually die of the toxic icy fumes entering your body even if you weren't wounded, but now that the impure Ice Essence Orb was mixed, it became somewhat breathable but still dangerous as the intensity of the attacks became higher."
