Tom ignored the latter rewards after <Trickery>. It was certainly a variety of suff, But that's not the serious problem here.

Ezekiel will only reward suff that would be useful or have a chance to be useful. That meant Trickery would certainly have a use and to further cement his speculation that Trickery appeared as the first reward.

'Ezekiel details on Trickery!' Tom commanded and Ezekiel complied.

'I knew it!! I was right, It's used to fool the 'Talent assesment crystal' ' Tom speculated.

Information he read in the past helped very much. The 'Talent assesment crystal' didn't just assess one talent, it also checks ones bloodline or in the case of Tom 'bloodlines'.

'I'm so stupid! I was so fed up on awakening that I totally forgot the Talent assessment, fucking stupid' Tom cursed annoyed at himself.

There are a myriad of bloodlines in this world and there are many cases of people having duel bloodlines. Do note that it is completely based on luck and one needed to have parents/Ancestors of different bloodline powers procreating.

Basically there are many factors involved in the fruition of duel bloodlines and Tom's knowledge of this matter is limited. But he sure never heard of light and darkness in the same person.

Light and darkness are opposites atleast conventionally, and that is what exactly what Tom fears now.

He fears people.

There are a myriad of People in this world, not just humans other races like elves, dwarves etc also exist. One cannot easily predict peoples hearts and people's imagination ran wild when they have absolutely nothing to do.

So he couldn't rule out the possibility of morals or misconception of both couldn't exist in the same person. Or something more stupid like the church of light/darkness. If that's the case it would be worst for a man like Tom, who's entire existence can be a question to their belief.

'Hmm that might be possible... Wait a fucking minute!' Tom exclaimed inwardly pulling a notification message out.

« Congratulations, Master you unlocked a trillionth in one fraction of your hidden bloodline »

'Hidden bloodline? I have something like that? Is it something bad and were did I get it? my parents? Ezekiel?' Tom asked after realizing something.

'It has no relation with your lineage in your life time or previous ones. How you got it and its usefulness you got'to find it yourself... But i suggest you focus on what's ahead now' Ezekiel clarified some of his doubts.

'So this hidden bloodline won't be detected like the others and get me into trouble?'

'Yes' Ezekiel replied.

Tom smirked, now he just proved that his two opposite powers are indeed the case. Sometimes Tom just had to go in a roundabout way to get some answers from Ezekiel, otherwise he would probably not answer. But don't confuse it with tricking Ezekiel, it's just finding a loophole in the working algorithm of the system. Anyway, let's talk about that later...

Tom took a deep breath and said, "Elder Jom, I think I completed it."

Elder Jom looked shocked hearing how fast this young master completed his awakening. It'd take about 15 min to 20 minutes for a normal person to complete his or her awakening.

Surprisingly, this boy Thomas Netherlore was very fast, he finished it in a span of 4 minutes, undisclosed to Tom unknowingly his thinking speed also increased that's why it felt like a long time but actually only a few few minutes passed since the entire thing happened.

Elder Jom for a movement forgot that this Young man was actually the son of Count Netherlore and things were expected of him so this kind of result was atleast not world breaking but good nonetheless.

"Hmm. Good, good it's my first time seeing such a fast awakening, good indeed, as expected of Count Netherlore's Son" Elder Jom praised genuinely impressed.

But when Elder Jom looked at Tom's face surprised he just saw a casual smile, no arrogance, just a pure smile that said 'Stop it you're embarrassing me it not a big deal' and Elder Jom was again impressed with his attitude 'atleast he's not conceited'.

Elder Jom stood up, caressing his beard he said, "Ok. Let's get your talent checked"

A worn-out curtain was pushed aside and behind it lay the 'Talent assessment crystal'.The crystal was murky-white a title transparent and basicaly looked like a upsidedown colourless stalactite. some runes were carved on it's surface giving it a mystical feeling.

Tom approached it and gave mental command to Ezekiel, 'Activate Trickery make my Magicules count similar to slightly above average person and show my darkness power omit the power of light'

[Trickery Activated]

Tom gave a moment to look at the runes on the crystal trying to memorise it for a latter date. Soon he placed his hand on crystal as instructed by Elder Jom.

Foreign mana invaded into his body probing every corner of his body, meanwhile Tom also observed this Foreign mana. Now that he could sense mana he mustn't waste this chance to deepen his understanding of it.

After all, today a new race began. A race towards power only death and suppression awaits those who failed.

Anyway, the foreign mana existed after it did its thing. And soon a brilliant light shone.

Seeing the colour of this light Elder Jom's expression turned to a disgusted one.

The colour was yellow!

The colour of talent possessed by the average man who had the average Magicule count of 10~25.

'I didn't mean normal people average! l meant the average of nobles children! Fu*ck!!'
