There was no door or gate to block the path. Instead, the duo was greeted by the open air of a gloomy, crooked forest glade and the dim light of dusk. Only, upon closer inspection, there was no sun in sight. Just a perpetual glow on the horizon, nearly overwhelmed by the darkness of the sky.

Zelsh ran through the air to stand atop the tallest tree, forcing the tired drake to keep following along.
"I mean exactly that. This might as well be its own self-governed territory. It's that big. And the entire thing is surrounded by a crazy powerful formation that restricts entry and exit.
