The New Group Of Friends

In the last chapter, Ai Yue's mother and sister requested a class change for Ai Yue due to the bullying and outcasting she had experienced.

Well, things became great at first, but soon things would take a turn.

"Welcome to class, everyone. We have a new student here today. She was transferred from the other class; now she will be joining our class,", the form teacher of the class said.

"Hello everyone! I am Han Ai Yue! Nice to meet you all!", Ai Yue said shyly. Instead of a cold response like her old class, the class clapped for her and even welcomed her into the class. They were thrilled to see their new classmate. They had this indescribable warmth. Not only was it so warm, but the new classmates genuinely wanted to be there in class, unlike the previous class. That was what Ai Yue thought at first.

On the first day, they were genuinely nice to Ai Yue. They invited her for lunch, and even some started to want to be close to her. Ai Yue, in return, gave them the same warmth. There were three people that Ai Yue got close to. Well, it started awkwardly for all three of them, but soon they got close.

The four of them, including Ai Yue, would do group projects and even do different individual projects together. They would even go out with one another, even after school hours. Moreover, they even played mobile games with one another. To put it simply, they did everything together. However, soon, things would take a turn.

During the school project week, the four of them, including Ai Yue, had many projects to finish together. At first, they were right with the plans that Ai Yue made for the group. This was because no one initiated the different dates to meet, and Ai Yue would usually take the lead for the different group projects. However, the people grouped up with her got pissed with the way she does things.

The problem was that Ai Yue didn't do anything wrong.

Ai Yue would usually plan the dates ahead of time. As the school would upload what assignments needed to be done, she would organize which days were to do what and would usually organize a 'fake' deadline for the group assignment. However, due to the nature of how students typically do things, they would like to do it at the last minute and just blame everything on Ai Yue.

Every single time Ai Yue says something about the group project, she is shut down and slammed with "Stop doing it so fast" or "You have a problem, don't you?". Sure, Ai Yue has a problem that she has to solve, but holding a grudge against her is a literal brainless thing anyone would do. Holding a grudge against someone you won't even see in a few years isn't about the time you are with that person; it's whether you can accept who they are and not be so petty about it.

To add on, Ai Yue never liked games. She started to play with one of them since she was stressed and found it a little of a stress reliever. Then, suddenly, the other two friends joined in, and it started becoming more of a place to criticize Ai Yue's skills. This was the reason why Ai Yue stopped playing with them weeks after they started playing.

Then the whole situation had another problem. There was someone saying something behind Ai Yue's back. That someone was one of the three girls she made friends with. Well, when school started again, one of the three girls made friends with Ai Yue.

That girl tried so many ways to get Ai Yue to befriend her, but the issue was that Ai Yue didn't make friends so easily. That girl would text Ai Yue every single day, as though Ai Yue were a crush. Ai Yue was right at first, but slowly she became annoyed by the girl's approaches and slowly tried to pull away. But when Ai Yue pulled away, that girl would spread rumours to the class about how much Ai Yue hated her. Ai Yue didn't say anything.

One day, one of the girls from the class approached Ai Yue and said, "You know, there is a particular girl spreading rumours in the class, and I think you should know."

The classmate showed all the different text messages sent, and one thing was certain: this girl was a toxic person. But how Ai Yue became friends with this girl was even more amusing.

Ai Yue was having a fallout with Fen Yi. During that time, that girl was experiencing the same thing and used that to her advantage. She would stage everything so perfectly, and soon Ai Yue was in her trap.

She would start texting Ai Yue. Since the day that they started talking, Ai Yue has received text messages from her every single day. At first, Ai Yue was not upset with it, but as time grew, it started becoming too much for Ai Yue to handle.

Then, there is the other part of the situation: Ai Yue became that girl's emotional dumpster. Well, hearing your friends out is an excellent thing to do and should be done. But this girl would emotionally dump everything on Ai Yue. And, when Ai Yue needed someone to hear her out, the girl would in turn change the topic or not even give her the comfort that she needed.

These three girls aren't people that Ai Yue should have meddled with, but she did. Only after leaving those three girls did she realize how disgusting they were. Being close to them will only cause harm to Ai Yue.
