Two magazines were empty, lying on the floor with Ailord pressing the trigger at the two Wyverns flying towards them. Slowly, he began to get used to the chaotic situation he was in, but he couldn't stop his trembling hands. Several times he took deep breaths, trying to calm himself. However, every scream and explosion kept shaking his heart, almost making him lose control.
Only the figure of Luna helped him keep moving, standing not far behind, giving orders to the crew. Without her, Ailord might have screamed loudly while curling up somewhere.
