The next day, all of Copperhaven searched for captain Zayn and the rebel members who had suddenly disappeared from within Endside. No one saw them, while eyewitnesses said they had all gone out and vanished just as they went up.
Great chaos ensued as the criminals finally emerged to the surface, causing people to panic and lock themselves in their homes, even boarding up windows with wood to ensure no one could break in. The sound of mech cannons firing could be heard continuously, along with the heavy footsteps of the machines that shook the ground every second. The Constructs continued to patrol, killing the criminals who tried to escape.
