The Alpha

"Alpha?"

Gaby raised a suspicious brow.

"The Alpha of the savages,the only savage with magic energy and rational reasoning...if you can control it,you can control millions of them...all of them,he alone is able to control their minds even in numbers".The king straightened up,his face never leaving Gaby's who looked away, unable to conceal the displeasure he felt.

"I don't have that kind of power...I might be able to control animals but am not even a mid tier demon yet....For a beast that powerful the hypnotic must be very powerful..."

"I sense a tremendous magic force emanating from you...you must have turned a midtier without even knowing it..."

"What!.....so...so what if I was,what could a lower midtier demon as me do"

"That would suffice"The king said before nodding to Dark then he vanished.

Dark approached Gaby but he stepped backwards away from him,his gaze stern.

"You want to ruin tomorrow's hunt now don't you"

"It's today...it's past midnight". dark corrected through a dark grin.

"I am not going with yo_"

"I wanna go home"Came Farhat's voice from where he stood.Then he began sobbing.

Gaby looked ahead at him then at Dark's already streched out arm, waiting for him to take it.

He looked back at Farhat who now had his hand over his eyes sobbing.

"Help me Gaby....they won't let me go"he sobbed.

Gaby watched him for a moment,he had never heard Farhat cry in a long time,he must be frightened.The thought of how they might have threatened him and the cruelty they would be met with if he refused some how managed to moved his muscles and bones raising his arm slowly into the Sorceror's.

What scared him most was Farhat's death,he had thought Farhat had been killed by this sorceror earlier but here he was standing before him,after managing to survive and come back to him he wouldn't let him die the second time.

The arm trembled while Gaby watched his friend,until they finally it finally touched flesh and that was when Gaby looked into the Sorceror's black hazel eyes.

When Gaby reopened his eyes he found himself at the mouth of an enormous cave with both demons standing Infront of him.

"He is inside...I sense its demonic energy"he turned to Gaby"You must summon him and take control of his mind...only then can we go in unfazed".

"How do I control something I can't even see?"

"Meditate...you must feel his magic energy to sense his location...connect it to yours and then you can have his mind".

Gaby sat down on the carpet grass below with crossed legs,shut his eyes and inhaled deeply.

Exhaling and inhaling even more rapidly,he could smell every living thing in the area and even further away.The king had been right...he was now a midtier.

He could smell them,the savages

With every breath he felt his senses sharpening till he finally sensed magic energy coming from the cave.

He found the Alpha.

Gaby inhaled forcefully and a blue magic circle appeared in front of him then the ground began to rumble and then the Cave under the influence of the heavy footsteps that shook them.

"It's coming!"King maxmillian muttered.

"You must summon him and bid him to do your will"

Gaby didn't open his eyes but he could hear the king loud and clear unknown to him he already had the beast under his control.

It was coming for a reason,to do the one thing he had ordered it to do.

"Do you have it under your control?"

"Am trying!!"came Gaby's faked distressed voice.

The rumbling continued,only faster now, accompanied by loud aggressive snares and growling as the beast sprinted towards them.

"Should we leave?

"Do you underestimate me?"The king questioned with a suspicious stare fixed on Gaby as if reading his mind.

"No your majesty...but with one command millions of them will come trampling down on us...The emperor will definitely know something went wrong ...."

"You might think me dumb young lad but this is your first and final warning....don't try anything stupid remember I hold your lives in my hands.... Unfortunately for you you know nothing about these beasts,the Alpha never leaves his position in the cave...and never ran in his life...the other beasts serve him,if you are plotting something in that empty head I must warn you that I alone am sufficient to take down hundreds of these beasts at once including the Alpha so stop this madness right now!".

Immediately, the rumbling stopped and Gaby stood up and motioned to them to follow him.

"You dare play such cheap tricks on me!"

"I have no respects for you anymore..you are no longer my king"Gaby's piercing eyes boldly stared at him.

Dark raised a fist to hit him but the king stopped him.

"Go with him....you know what you must do,I must be in Urah before the sunrises otherwise Tyran notices my absence".

The king disappeared and Gaby led the way with Dark following closely from behind.

As he walked ahead thoughts of ways to kill the Sorceror with these beasts clouded his mind,all which he knew would be futile.

Dark was a high rank sorceror who could easily disappear leaving him behind and that would endanger Farhat as well.

He had no choice but to play along geniuely.

As they walked ahead Gaby caught sight of the large beasts staring and snarling at them from every corner of the cave yet unable to attack because he had the Alpha under his control but anything could go wrong as it was his first time.

From the desire to rip them apart written in their eyes,Gaby already envision what would happen them moment he lost control of the Alpha.

The cave was well illuminated by flames on what seemed to be torches on the wall Courtesy of the Alpha since these beasts had no sense of reasoning.

The Sorceror and he both broke into a sprint till they reached the end of the cave.

Which had a pile of huge rocks stucked together in the fashion of a throne.

It took a while for Gaby to climb up to it before taking his seat and few moments later the Seventy foot tall Alpha emerged from the shadows,fell at his knees and let out a loud growl.

It head fell at the feet of the throne and Gaby watched the other savages do the same.
