[Prologue: The Abused Boy]
"Well, I don't want to say anything but, that's alarming already." Everyone looked at each other uneasy, even if some of them were untraceable. Harry gripped his hands tightly, sensing the way the story was going to. It was about him anyway. He eased his breath in an attempt to calm himself. It worked though, slightly.
[Percy Jackson was known in America as being a troublemaker when he was younger. Always getting into adventure and ending up on the news for something. From the scene at the gateway arch, the beach fight with Ares who 'kidnapped' him, to blowing up a parking lot, and finally part of the destruction of Ancient Greece.]
"What! Seriously, that is a lot of trouble!"
"Who is Ares?"
~Ares is God of War, Violence, Battle lust and Rage. He was also known as the Master of Taunts due to his penchant for inciting his adversary to rage. He kind of has the ability to poke other people in the tender spots. Not well liked by other people, both gods and humans.~
"Huh? That's suck. Fighting a god as if wishing for death."
Hermione cocked her head in Harry's direction. Her words were spoken with humor. "Well, Harry. It appears that your adoptive father attracts trouble in a similar way to you, though he may be more dangerous."
Harry sweat dropped hearing his best friend. He thought the same too about his alternated adoptive father.
[Those were some of the more larger news coverages he had on him since he was 12 years old. Nowadays, life was a bit more quiet. Mostly because he spent a few years after the Battle with Gaea in New Rome getting a college degree from Annabeth's insistence.]
"Wait. What is college?"
All the muggleborn and muggle-raised students jumped at the question as soon as they heard the well-known word. A few of them have already shifted their attention to their friends and begun to explain.
Ron turned his head curiously in her direction while he was seated next to Hermione. The familiar writings on the television, however, explained it as she opened her mouth.
~College is a facility for higher education. Typically, it began when a person was 17 years old or older. In college, the education will be more in-depth and useful for preparing for careers. Before attending college, children in Muggle World begin their education at the young age of 5 in kindergarten, primary school, elementary school, and high school. ~
"So, that what it is."
Everyone began to mutter and whisper in understanding. Before returning their focus to the story, they collected themselves.
[But after getting his degree, he got restless and wanted something new in his life. "A new adventure" Annabeth had called it.
He was slightly disappointed when Annabeth declined joining him in this adventure of living in the United Kingdom, but after Tartarus they broke up to remain friends. It made some things a bit awkward, especially for Annabeth who didn't quite enjoy the trouble they found themselves in.]
"Huh? Tartarus? What is that?"
When another question came up, Harry sighed. He had become somewhat tired of the questions. He wants to know the story, for crying out loud.
Inhaling deeply, he composed himself and focused on the justification. Hey! Don't blame the man. He was also curious.
~Tartarus is the darkest and deepest area of Hades' realm, known as the Underworld, where the gods imprison their enemies. Tartarus is also the primordial Greek god of the abyss. That where the Titans from the First Titan War were imprisoned.~
"Dude, that's dark."
[Percy couldn't blame her for not wanting anymore adventure, which was why he was here in London living his life.
Actually, he was currently in his aquarium feeding the sharks when one of his employees, Drake Smith ran into the room.]
Snape, "I do have a feeling that something will happen."
Minerva, "Severus, why would you say that?"
"Intuition."
Harry, who heard it from afar, tightened his lips in a line. So, it's not him alone who thought so. He did have the feeling that everything would fall down sooner or later. He could only wait and see what would happen.
["Percy, we have a problem near the dolphin exhibit." Said Drake looking distraught, yet slightly amuse about something.
"What's the problem?" Percy asked wondering what could be wrong.
Drake's eyes dance in amusement. "Well, this family is demanding to let their boy feed the dolphins."
Percy looked shocked. "That's not a thing. You can't do that anywhere else, not anymore, I don't think. Why did they think we would let them?" Percy questioned as he handed the shark food to another person to finish the job.]
"Really?"
No one heeds the exclamation, concentrating on the story.
[Percy then started to follow Drake toward the exhibit. "Apparently, their son saw the divers feeding the dolphins and had this great idea that he could also. Don't even know how the kid would be able to fit in a suit as it is," Drake said shaking his head, "When we refused he started to throw a hissy-fit. The parents, instead of scolding the boy, tried to pay us to let him feed them."]
Harry's eyes flashed in recognition, and he immediately recognized them. Dudley alone stands out. His attitude that everything must go his way stemmed from his upbringing as a spoilt child. Harry will immediately pick Dudley if given the option of choosing between Malfoy and Dudley as the person he despises the most. He despises that pig to the core.
[Percy just shook his head, he disliked people like this. Think they can do whatever they want with money.]
In shock, Harry's eyes blinked. Who would have guessed that his adoptive father doesn't place a high priority on money?
Eyes that were emerald and green sparkled with joy. He instantly liked him.
[Percy didn't even need the money to keep the place open, one of the few things the gods did after the Battle of Gaea was giving all the Seven Lotus Casino cards. They just got scolded into making sure to use it right and try and stay under-the-radar. They really didn't need people questioning seven sudden billionaires (though Piper might've been able to explain her money).]
"… What?"
Do not require money! Who or what was he? Everyone was completely at a loss for words. Nearly everyone's faces had bewildered expressions. Afterward, anger appeared on their faces.
They needed a justification, please!
~ Similar to a credit card, the Lotus Casino card allows users to spend an unlimited amount of money. Only Hades, the God of the Rich, and the Dead, is authorized to issue this card. He also had control over the Underworld.
One of Percy's friends is Piper, who is also known by the name Piper McLean. She is a demigod as well, and her mortal parent is an actor. ~
The other's face changed from surprised to please. They didn't give it enough attention because the explanation was clear and easy to understand.
However, as they listened to the explanation, the Pureblood in attendance appeared like strangled cats. When compared to this young man, who could make money instantly, they had to work very hard to amass wealth. With that thought, their faces darkened.
In the midst of Harry's trance, countless thoughts emerged in his mind. The richest man in the world, his adoptive father was wealthy. He had assumed that the amount of money in his vault was substantial. Yet this! Amazingly, it was. He awoke from his trance and waited patiently for the story to continue. He was interested in learning what would happen next.
