Chapter 9: A Happy Reunion Cut Short

"Guys, I need to be honest with you. Things haven't been well for me," Petalfin said grimly. "What's wrong?" Lia asked, sympathy in her voice. "There's a girl, named Cadensa. She plans to destroy me and the other girls in the place that I've been." Petalfin explained. "Where?" Stonepin, or Sep asked. Petalfin explained further, "There's a girl, Lavina, a Neko, who can create, and another girl, who could bring them to life. She was Cadensa, a Createra. But she could also destroy. Lavina trapped her in her own body, but she broke free. I went back here from a place I didn't know."

"Oh, Petalfin, didn't I tell you that you were the best at stories?" Win asked.

He added, "Think about it Petalfin, how would there even be a single Neko alive? All of them perished in the black hole. You know that."

Petalfin started to loose a little faith. "But could you guys help me figure out how to get back to that place, and maybe help me fight Cad-"

"Sorry, Petalfin, but I'm gonna have to go with Win on this one," the elf, Lia, interrupted. "Lavina can't exist. Also, you know all of the places in the Magic Realm. It's not possible you don't know this one."

Petalfin was shocked. "She does! One of my friends even died-"

Fro spoke, "Aren't we your friends? Also, just stop. Lavina can't exist. All of the Nekos died. Do you hear me?"

Rosa looked at them, and asked, "Are you sure you're not...um...you know...a little bit crazy?"

"I can't believe this," Petalfin said, and flew away.
