"…It is tasty," Yuuya slowly said to Grayfia who was looking at him, and ate a second one.

"I'm glad it is to your taste Master," Grayfia said with a soft smile and started eating herself. She has this habit of only eating after Yuuya starts eating and says the food is good.

It might look like she is letting him taste the food to see if it is edible or not but actually isn't like that, like seriously she is just like that for some reason.

'They look more like a newly-wed couple than a Maid and a Master,' Both Marin and Apophis thought looking at each other.

Then they both shrugged and then moved their chopsticks with Marin picking the teriyaki salmon fillets and Apophis eating the Miso soup with prawns, tofu & udon noodles.

"Umai," Both of them said almost instantly with bright eyes as the food was so tasty that they couldn't stop. This was especially true for Marin as everything tasted so good with rice that she ended up asking for refills four times. Apophis asked for a refill six times almost like she was competing with each Marin and Yuuya stopped at the second time.

Grayfia was satisfied because the food was finished as always. She also felt extra happy that Yuuya asked for a refill which he rarely does. So she was in a merry mood while cleaning the dishes.

"My stomach will burst like this~~~," Marin said as she sat on the couch in the living room rubbing her stomach with a smile.

'Then don't eat that much,' Yuuya thought looking at her which was caught by Marin.

"Yuuya-kun I swear you were thinking that 'Man, this girl eats like a pig'," Marin said looking at Yuuya with a blush.

"Not exactly but you got the gist. So, Ding!! 100 million points for you." Yuuya said in his normal tone.

"You know Yuuya-kun this is where you deny it and then get scolded for being rude. What do I do with the points anyway?" Marin asked a bit confused.

"I see, And I don't know about the points either." Yuuya just nodded.

"Yuuya-kun you are totes living in the wrong genre," Marin said with a chuckle while looking at him.

"Maybe I am," Yuuya said in his monotone tone.

'Even if he is like this, even though I don't know him for long. Seeing him like this just somehow doesn't feel right to me…..' Marin thought looking at Yuuya who was just sitting while leaning back on the sofa.

"Marin?" Yuuya waved his hand in front of Marin's face.

"Y-yes Yuuya-kun," Marin woke up from her daze.

"Is something to matter you have been sitting there absent-mindedly for a while," Yuuya asked while looking at her with slight worry in his eyes that was only caught by Apophis who smiled.

'Did something happen to her?' Yuuya thought.

"Nothing I was just thinking about this….. Ah! yes, this cosplayer that I saw. Yuuya-kun you need to look at this." Marin said as she picked up her phone and showed Yuuya a photo on social media.

Yuuya looked at the pic of a girl with black hair tied in a bun wearing an off-shoulder short kimono that barely covered her voluptuous body it reached her thighs as she was holding a sheathed katana over her shoulders acting like a female samurai.

"What do you think Yuuya-kun? Isn't she a total knockout, How pretty! This one is surely taken in the studio." Marin said with a bright smile and shining eyes while talking about cosplaying.

"It looks good," Yuuya said looking at her as she showed him some more photos of other people while talking about what she liked about the cosplays done by others.

'She really likes her cosplay too much, I guess it is good that she has something she likes doing. It is much better than…..' Yuuya thought while looking at Marin who was still going on about the photos with a slight smile which only lasted for a second this was missed by Marin because she was a bit too engrossed in talking about Cosplay, but the second person in the room didn't miss it.

"Isn't cosplaying awesome Yuuya-kun?" Marin looked at him with a smile.

Yuuya just nodded lightly causing Marin to smile more brightly.

Even though it might look like he is just nodding for the hell of it, But, in the time she has been with him she had come to know that he isn't a very vocal person. He doesn't speak much and likes to stay quiet but whenever he speaks he never lies. So she knows when he nods it isn't just to pass the conversation which is quite rare for her as no matter how much she talks about Anime and cosplay no one actually tries it or pays it attention after saying 'it sounds cool' or 'they check it out'.

This makes her want to talk more to him and hopefully know more about him.

And after talking a bit more which was basically a one-sided conversation with Marin talking Yuuya stood up.

"I'll go take a shower," Yuuya said.

"Oh sure," Marin said with a smile as Yuuya walked out of the room leaving behind Apophis and Marin.

Yuuya slowly made his way towards the bathroom and closed the door.

"SIGH*" After sighing heavily he crouched down on the floor as a bead of sweat started to form on his forehead.

He felt like someone was inserting burning hot needles in every cell of his body from inside out.

More sweat started forming on his body as he breathed a bit heavily but he didn't move and stayed like that for a while.

After about 10 minutes he stood up and he was fully covered in sweat while his breathing became a bit uneven.

So he removed his clothes and stood under the showerhead while recalling his conversation with Marin.

He remembered her smiling brightly talking about cosplaying with those bright eyes.

"Sigh* Good grief," Yuuya muttered as he sighed softly.

Back in the room,

"Marin-chan do you like cosplaying that much?" Apophis asked as she sat down next to Marin.

"Hell yeah, I freaking love it," Marin said with a smile

"Oh, isn't it good to have something you like," Apophis smiled as well looking at the bright smile.

'What a bright smile,' Apophis shook her head.

"Marin-chan, do you like Anime?" Apophis asked.

"Um, I love watching anime. Do you like it as well Apophis-san?" Marin said happily.

"Oh yes, I do. I have been watching the 'Flower Princess Blaze' and I am likin it so far." Apophis said as she has the same habit as Yuuya to watch anime in her free time though her reason to watch it is different.

"Oh, I love that one so much!!! Let me tell you some more that are similar to that you will totes love these as well." Marin said happily as she met a fellow fan of an anime series she likes.

Then Marin and Apophis talked about things that interested them about the anime.

Grayfia just finished cleaning the place so she came into the living room with a tray that had Baby castellas with chocolate fillings.

"Master isn't here?" Grayfia asked them as she saw that Yuuya wasn't in the room.

"Yuuya-kun went to take a shower. Besides that, Grayfia those look delicious for reals." Marin said as she looked at Baby castellas.

"I just made them for everyone so go ahead," Grayfia said with a smile.

Marin smiled brightly and started eating.

'Even her eating habits are the same though on a smaller scale,' Apophis just smiled slightly and saw that Grayfia was looking at her with worry on her face.

'My My, you are quite quick on the uptake.' Apophis just smiled and waved her hand making Grayfia a bit relieved.

"Grayfia is this the first time you made these?" Marin asked as she picked up one that was a bit uneven.

"Yes, I was just trying," Grayfia said with a smile.

"This is a surprise they taste super good," Marin said as she ate with a smile.

Apophis looked at Grayfia then shook her head then continued eating.

And the trio talked while eating the baby castellas.

Yuuya finished taking a shower and wiped his body with the towel then wore the clothes that were placed for him there by Grayfia while he was in the shower.

'I have been a bit too absent-minded lately.…..' Yuuya thought as he came here and took a shower in a hurry he forgot about the clothes.

After changing into a white t-shirt with dark blue sweatpants he walked out of the bathroom.

Walking down the corridor under the moonlight that came from the open sliding doors he looked at the night sky for a moment seeing the clouds hiding the moon and darkening the sky.

Thinking over things that have been troubling him for a long time, to be honest, he has always been ignoring these problems saying it wasn't needed or there wasn't time for them, But...
