" N-Nik..." muttered Rebekah looking pale.

" He is dead. " said Klaus in a hard voice but the terror in his eyes was what shocked Katherine and Marcel.

The others though looked confused and curious whispering among themselves. Katherine and Marcel who knew the Mikaelsons were shocked to see the fear in their eyes.

Marcel has only ever seen fear in Klaus's eyes when Mikael was mentioned but he has never seen The Klaus Mikaelson almost shivering in fear and terror his eyes held was foreign. Who was this person that made even the oldest and most powerful family on earth to shake in fear.

" Who is he and why are you all so scared? " Demanded Elena.

" None of your business..." replied Freya coldly.

" But we still want to know, so chop chop..." snarked Damon.

" Shut up, you imbecile. Not everything is about you lot. Go back to crushing over your brother's girlfriend maybe she might give you chance as that is what the doppelgangers do. Switch brothers. " Hissed Rebekah glaring murderously at the Mystic gang making them back down except Damon who was going to open his mouth again, but Stefan slammed his hand over it.

Rose arrives at the door.

Elijah: Rose-Marie. Is there somewhere we can talk?

Rose: Yes, in here. You have to forgive the house.

Elijah: Oh, no, what's a little dirt? I completely understand. So, tell me, what is it that gives you the courage to call me?

{Elijah made a face looking at the house.}

Rose: I wanted my freedom. I'm tired of running. You in a position to grant me that?

Elijah: I have complete authority to grant pardon to you and your little pet. What is his name these days? Trevor. If I so, see fit.

Rose: Katerina Petrova?

{Katherine stilled understanding Elijah is going to find her soon means Klaus won't be far behind. She calmed herself and took a deep breath avoiding the suspicious and curious eyes of the mystic gang.}

Elijah: I'm listening.

Rose: She didn't burn in the church in 1864.

{" So, he is the one you have been running from..." it was more of a statement uttered by Stefan, who was intensely staring at Katherine who simply smirked.

The Mystic gang was staring at Elijah who stared right back at them and raised an eyebrow.

" Why have you been hunting the evil vampire all this time and why are you behind Elena? What do you want from her? " Questioned Damon.

Elijah sighed fixing his suit and said, " Young Vampires these days, so arrogant. "

Damon sneered at him with Mystic gang backing him but instantly stopped at Elijah's words " If you ever talk to me in this tone again, You and all of your loved ones will cease to exist, and I will make sure to make it painful." Giving them a dangerous smile, he continued " I am an Original, show a little more respect. "}

Elijah looked around for a potential threat or scheme and his eyes fell on the daylight ring on Rose's middle finger making him narrow his eyes before he went back to his nonchalant self.

{" Ever the observant, brother..." said Kol making Elijah raise an eyebrow and turn away nonchalantly fixing his cufflinks.

" I want to know what Zara talked to them about? " Pouted Davina}

Elijah: Continue.

Rose: She survived.

Elijah: Where is she?

Rose: You don't seem surprised by this.

{Katherine narrowed her eyes on the screen and subtly side-eyed Elijah but immediately turned away when she caught his eyes.}

Elijah: Oh, when you called and invited me into this armpit of civilization, which is a mere three hours from the town we know as Mystic Falls, I surmised it had everything to do with Katerina. Do you have her in your possession?

{Katherine scoffed and rolled her eyes finding it ridiculous when, Elijah and Klaus weren't able to find her then how would these fools be able to catch her.}\

Rose: No, but I have better. I have her doppelganger.

Elijah: That's impossible, her family line ended with her. I know that for fact.

{" Looks like the facts were wrong. " said Klaus smirking at Katherine who stiffened and avoided his eyes.}

Rose: The facts are wrong.

Elijah: Well, show her to me.

Rose: Elijah, you are a man of honor, you should be trusted but I want to hear you say it again.

Elijah: You have my word that I will pardon you.

{The Mikaelsons smirked and shook their heads at their brother's ways of finding loopholes in everything. Elijah silently smirked at the screen.

" smart " came Hayley's voice as she looked at Elijah in appreciation.

At everyone's questioning look she rolled her eyes saying, " He said, he will pardon her, ' Her '. Not the other guy and as far as we know, he was the one that betrayed him not the girl."

Everybody made a face of realization and looked at Elijah in amazement. The Mikaelsons looked at Hayley in admiration and interest.}

Elijah gestured her to show the way and raised his eyebrows when he found her staring at him without moving.

Elijah: Rose?

Rose: And Trevor.

Elijah: Pardon?

Rose: You will pardon me and Trevor both...

{Elijah narrowed his eyes to slits glaring heatedly at the screen.}

Elijah looked at her blankly but something in his demeanor changed making Rose take step back. His eyes flashed and he hissed in a hard voice,

Elijah: Are you commanding me?

{" Is it weird that I find him hot?" whispered Caroline to Bonnie who shook her head and agreed.

" No, he is hot and not just him, his whole family has amazing genes. Their British accents though..."

Caroline nodded agreeing with her but stopped when she saw everyone staring both of them, making them blush and avoid the bewildered looks of their friends, the devilishly hot smirks of the Mikaelson men and the disturbed looks of the Mikaelson sisters and Marcel.

Hayley, Katherine, Jenna, Davina and even Elena agreed with Caroline, Bonnie as they nodded in agreement and shrugged when the looks were directed towards them, making the ego of the Mikaelson men skyrocket.}

Rose: N-No...

Elijah: Where is the doppelganger?

Rose: I-I will take y-you to h-her but I w-want your word t-that you will p-pardon us both...

{" Why do I feel like Zara is behind this..." muttered Hayley gaining nods of agreement.}

Elijah took a deep breath as he fought the urge to smack her head off and gritted out.

Elijah: Fine, you have my word that I will pardon you both...

Rose sighed in relief.

Rose: F-Follow me.

Elijah stares at Rose's back with a frown but nonetheless follows her and they arrive at the main room. Elena hears them. She's scared and turns her head. Elijah looks at her surprised and rushes over to her. He took a good look at her and bend down to smell her neck.

{The Mystic gang all send glares to Elijah but did not say anything because of his threat.}

Elijah: Human. It's impossible. Hello there.

Road

Stefan and Damon have stopped the car off the road, not far from the house.

Damon: The house should be just beyond those trees. Wait, I got a lot more experience than you do with those sorts of things.

Stefan: What is your point?

{Stefan narrowed his eyes at Damon who avoided his eyes,}

Damon: My point is, whoever has Elena is probably who was after Katherine in 1864 and before that.

Stefan: And?

Damon: And it puts them at 500 years old and strong. Are you sure you want to do this?

{Elena looks at Damon in hurt making him tense and Stefan eyed them silently.}

Stefan: Yeah, I'm certain I want to do it.

Damon: Because if we go in that house, we may not come back out.

Stefan: Alright, then I won't come out.

Damon: So noble, Stefan.

Stefan: I can't think of a better reason to die, but if you want to stay here, I'll totally understand.

{Everyone except the Mystic gang scoffed and shook their heads at Stefan's stupidity.}

He leaves and Damon follows him.
