Howling cry

A few days ago~

Isabella looked around the place and walked back to Cizra who had been sitting down on a fallen bark of a tree.

"Seems good." She commented and sat down beside her.

"Told you, if would be a good place to stay for the rainy season."

"Hmmm but…what about the rumors about a beast wandering in the woods at the night?" She turned her head and looked skeptically at the woman beside her who had claimed to be her patroness.

She trusted her with her everything. That woman was indeed her true benefactor. If not because of her, she would have been rotten under the water she had been thrown into and her daughter would never have came to this world.

"Oh do you believe in such things, child? These false stories are spread just to keep attackers and thieves off your territories. I know well about these old tactics." Cizra waved her hand in the air with a bored expression on her face. "Let's get to work and build our residence."
