Royal Theatre of London -Part 8

"Alright," Gen said even though he still could not see any route out for the three assassins he had hired. "I will guide you to victory."

"That's my man!" Moth said as he wanted to go in blind almost immediately upon hearing Muramasa's words.

"Head to the basement as soon as possible and lure the Faceless Goblin there. I have a stash van as support in case things turned to shit." Gen remarked as he ordered them to move as soon as possible. "As for Needle, I am going to throw you something that I hope you know how to use it well." Gen exclaimed as he remembered something in Needle's portfolio.

As Needle shot another one of the Faceless Goblins, he noticed a glimmer of shining light flying towards him. He took that chance to move to one side while luring one of the Faceless Goblins to the trajectory of the shining light. Little did he knew that the light was actually a rapier swooping down from afar. It pierced the Faceless Goblin and Needle did not know that what Muramasa said was literal.

"I honestly did not expect you to throw something at me." Needle smiled as ran to the back of the Faceless Goblin and picked it up the rapier. He then proceeded to give a fatal stab of the rapier into the punctured Faceless Goblin, causing it to suffocate in its own internal bleeding.

For some reason the moment the rapier was introduced, the Faceless Goblins detected Needle as the main threat even though there were also other guards in the area firing at them haphazardly. While this was the best scenario at saving people since all the remaining Faceless Goblins had stopped their hunt for munching humans, Needle had to deal with them all.

Of course, some of the guards took this opportunity to shoot back at the Faceless Goblins but most of them had their clips already empty and only managed to take down at most two more while injuring a few of them.

Needle quickly decided that the best place to fight would be on stage as much as he did not wish to be flashy considering he was an assassin. However, that would be the ideal place right now because of the lightings that was placed on stage. Needle will be able to see where the attacks were coming from without being blindsided because he was in a dimmed area where he previously conducted his fight.

In the meantime, both Viper and Moth were taunting it to move towards the basement. They took the emergency stairs since that was the only way down and they had advantage initially because of the Alpha Faceless Goblin who was way too huge in terms of size. It was temporarily stuck from the size of the entry giving them some leeway to move down first but at the same time Viper could not move too far away since she was afraid the Alpha Faceless Goblin got tired of chasing after them and decided to go for other targets instead.

Thankfully, Moth found a fire extinguisher and started spraying it to attract its attention while occasionally, Viper release the trigger on her pistol. Of course it was not the most ideal place to fire her weapon considering the intense echoes within the Emergency stairs were killing their ears.

But the moment the Alpha Faceless Goblin was able to squeeze through, it had to be a quick escape to the basement. Viper even had to remove her heels and jumped over the flight of stairs and into Moth's embrace in order to reduce the possibility of injuring herself.

For now things were going smoothly but all of them especially Needle who hoped that he could get out of that sticky situation of his.
