chapter 49 : Emerald demon

"what's going on with him ?he has been in a coma for a while now?" A voice slightly familiar to him spoke up and awakened him , his whole body felt stiff and cramped as he tried moving his fingers catching the girl's attention and she screamed

"Brother you are awake "before he could open his eyes a warm body wrapped around his hugging him tight as if the person was afraid that he might disappear or something , Timothy opened his eyes slowly adjusting them to the bright lights in the room . He looked at Moraine who was hugging him tightly then his eyes moved to the two other people who were in the room with him , June had a smile on her face and Sebrina who was still in the body of Catalina Monroe had her usual nonchalant expression on .

"Hey you are squeezing me a little tight" timothy spoke and the girl quickly released the pressure of her hug looking Timothy straight in the eye as tears flowed down her pale face "thank you steph for everything , I promise you from now on I'll do everything you say and ask big brother , if only I had listened to you back then and stayed out *sobs* they wouldn't have taken me and maybe you would still have all your memories " Timothy looked at her then at June as if to confirm whether she told him about the memory less story he had made up , June nodded and moraine continued" June told me everything you went through in order to get me back , she told me how you still chose to save me even though you have no memory of me or her . Thank you big brother for always taking care of me" June hugged him once again

Timothy remained still as the girl hugged him , his mind was conflicted by the fact that deep down he didn't do it for her but for him ,it seems like Sebrina's wordswrre true what if this was all a game but there was one thing he could not deny and that was the fact that he was starting to get a little attached to this world to these people Infront . If only he had control over the forgotten lands then he would come here whenever he pleases instead of waiting to be dragged here by an unknown force .

"Master where are we ? "Timothy heard void's voice in his head disturbing him from his thoughts

"Void where are you? " He asked as he looked around in search of void and it did not go unnoticed by the others

"What are you looking for? " Sebrina asked

Timothy didn't bother to answer her as he kept looking around

"I asked you a question ?" Sebrina moved forward but so did June who quickly moved Infront of her blocking her path

"I suggest you move aside " Sebrina spoke her eyes still focused on Timothy

"Not going to happen Monroe step back and leave him alone" June's voice seeped with anger

" Master I'm surrounded by trees " void answered in excitement making Timothy relieved and he attempted to get out of bed but June and moraine stopped him pushing him back gently

"You body is weak you have to rest " June spoke but he refused to lay down

"I have to go and check something outside " he got up and made his way out of the base slowly , his body was still so weak and he balanced himself on the walls as he got up the metal stairs that led outside the base

"Hiss _ creek_clank clank" the door to the base opened and he stepped outside , the sky was cloud and the ground was wet leaving a sign that the rain had just poured ,the scent of fresh air assaulted his senses as a breeze blew past him , he took a deep breath as he took in the beautiful scenery around him . Moraine and the two ladies followed behind Timothy watching his every action .

"Where are you void I can't see you ." He looked around but he couldn't spot void

" I'm right here master" void stepped out of nothing and appeared infront him but his dark ethereal wings were nowhere in sight and he looked exactly like a horse well a pure black horse that seemed like it was made from pure darkness , void circled around Timothy in excitement neighing so loud that the sound filled the whole forest . June and moraine stared at the horse in surprise and moraine approached both the horse and Timothy but void who noticed the little girl approaching quickly moved back and looked at the little girl with hostility and fear

"Hey pal she's not going to hurt you this is morai-...my little sister moraine , come on " void moved closer to moraine , letting her brush him

"It's beautiful brother , how did you know it was outside? "Moraine looked at Timothy who had his eyes fixed on void

"Yes Stephen tell us how did you know it was outside?" Sebrina spoke and Timothy could feel from her tone that she was annoyed at him but he didn't respond since she has been ignoring him for quite awhile now so he was just returning the treatment

"I don't know I had a strong urge to come out , I guess it was this guy calling me here " he answered clearly lying , June stepped forwad her eyes fixed on void

"It's been a while since I have seen a horse but this one seems different , I think that it's not your regular horse afterall we all just saw it materialize out of nowhere and appear in front of you" June spoke standing beside Timothy

"Let's get him inside" Timothy spoke and they went back inside with void behind them , after the door closed it started to rain ...

On the desert path that leads to Sondor two people in a armour were walking towards the warring village their steps unhurried , Faro stood at the entrance watching the two people approach and just when they were about a hundred yards away from the entrance they stopped and they both removed their helmets that were covering their faces , a scarfaced man and a beautiful woman stood a hundred yards away from Faro who was still composed as ever

"Faro Jorn it's an honor to meet you , we have had tales of your great battles and I must say I have always wanted to meet the emerald demon of Zebha" the scarfaced man spoke with utmost respect , the woman by his side also nodded

"I suppose you two are the famed Doom generals " Faro asked with a raised eyebrow

Scarface chuckled a bit " yes we are , war is a beautiful thing won't you say ? I mean if it wasn't for this war I wouldn't have gotten a chance to be the one that drives my spear in your heart extinguishing the life out of you" he released his aura of a soul tree Konqueror covering more than a hundred yards but most of it was directed at Faro

Faro smiled and shook his head at the man's display " you are still to weak to challenge me" Faro released a bit of his aura and the whole night sky turned emerald suppressing scarface's aura completely

"You shouldn't have done that"Scarface smiled

Faro's aura started disappearing at a fast rate and he looked at the woman standing next to Scarface with her palm open and all of his aura was being sucked into her palm

The woman spoke slowly while maintaining eye contact with him"Rune spell , black hole"
