Chapter 18; I will help you....

Su Tong noticed him struggling to carry his school bag that was packed up with books and other things, "I will help you."

He took the schoolbag away and hung it on his left shoulder before the private elevator door opened.

Su Mao held Su Tang's hand and she strolled over to her office door. She pressed the secret code unlocking it, and opened it before pushing it in.

"You can do your work on that couch over there... Be careful not to mess the place...." Her office was big enough like a self-contained condominium, she strode to her office desk and picked up the files that were neatly arranged.

The couch was a U-designed one and there was a coffee table in the middle, the area was sufficient and suitable for them to work on and keep themselves busy.

"Mother, will you be done soon?" Su Tang gazed at her with his adorable eyes. He didn't like staying in the hospital surroundings for long and this was still a hospital.

" Mnnh... I will be back soon, be careful, Su Tong.. take care of him." She gently patted his head walking away.

" All right Mother, you can be at ease." Su Tong saluted h is mother before he settled down to do his stuff while Su Tang sat beside him.

"Brother, I want to gamble today, I'm broke and I don't have a penny under my name nor in my bank account at the moment as we speak..." Su Ting whined as she settled down playing with her backbag. She occupied the entire couch on the right side and decided to lie on it lazily.

"Ting Ting, don't you think it's a bad habit to gamble all the time? Shouldn't you limit the habit?" Su Tang lightly frowned looking at his sister who was laid back lazily looking unbothered with what she had just said, he couldn't fathom whatever was going on in her mind.

"What do you know? Don't speak out what you don't understand." She snorted back at him coldly while fiddling around with her fingers.

Su Tang bowed his head feeling a little embarrassed, indeed, he didn't know anything, he couldn't even join his classmates to play P. E because of his poor health, if he wasn't inside the hospital ward then he was in the classroom seated while others did all kinds of activities.

He hadn't seen much of the outside work apart from seeing the highway they used to commute with going over to school and coming back home... So, he felt down knowing nothing and yet he was trying to advise her.

"Su Ting, that's enough, you can go if you want to..." Su Tong coldly glared at her noticing how Su Tang's back was hunched uncomfortably, Su Ting shut down her eyes to take a nap not listening to her brother.

Even though Su Tang was grinning, Su Tong could understand that periodically he would feel despondent, it's just that he knew how to mask his emotions very well.

"Su Tang, do you want to go somewhere else?" Su Tong roughly closed his books quit what he was working on and inquired warmly eying him.

" Aaahh?" Su Tang lifted his head startled as he got ripped away from his wild thoughts. He hadn't expected that question from his brother.

Su Tong stood up and strode towards the water dispenser, he got the paper cup and fetched some warm water.

He returned and passed it to Su Tang, "Here, take your medicine."

"Oohhh." He stretched his hand and received the cup of water as his anticipations were dampened. He had thought his brother wanted to take him somewhere.

Su Tong got the tablets and passed them to Su Tang's stretched hand and received them before swallowing them down followed by a mouthful of water, he returned the paper cup to him.

Su Tong got it and tossed it into the dustbin before packing his drugs away safely. He got a little candy and tossed it into his mouth.

"It will take the bitterness away... Let's go." He held his left hand as he gently tugged him to get up. Su Tang played with the candy in his mouth stopping him from the urge of getting nausea.

"Where are you going? Can I join you guys?" Su Ting sat up as she straightened her back gazing at Su Tong and Su Tang who were walking away curiously.

" Nope, you stay here and wait for mommy to come back to you..." They stepped out of the office and strode towards the public elevator.

" Brother, where are we actually going?" He worriedly inquired, he didn't wish for his mother to reprimand his brother because of him. Of course, he wanted to go out but at the same time, he didn't want to commit any wrong.
