CHAPTER 16: Full Moon Ball
[Armon's POV]
Soft music drifted through the well-decorated garden that I was sure had taken days to prepare. Guests were already arriving, and I found myself wondering why I even bothered to come to this ridiculous event.
'Mate.' Blaise purred, poking his nose into my thoughts.
'We don't have a damn mate!' I growled, pushing him away.
I was already on edge due to the blood moon that would appear later this evening, and since leaving Moyra with Eli, Blaise wouldn't shut up.
Letting a growl escape me, I stormed towards the refreshments table for a drink to take the edge off.
When I arrived, I found myself facing the exact person who was causing my inner turmoil.
Why she was standing here alone, unsupervised, was beyond me, but damn, she looked tempting.
