Small blessings 2

When the couple woke up it was dinner time . Sun was not feeling up to eating much so they had a light dinner in the room. Looking out the window Sun is wondering if she may have hurt the baby when she flew to come here. Now they have to fly back. Not knowing if it's dangerous to fly while pregnant. Jun sees her standing just staring out in space when he comes back from letting room service in. Giving her a warm back hug he nuzzles her neck.

"I'm sure everything is ok. Don't worry what ever happens we will figure it out. " she turn to put her arms around his waist. Placing her head on his shoulder.

"I know it's just I took such risks and didn't know I was pregnant. What if something has gone wrong because I have not been careful. It will be my fault. I don't want you to think that I don't want our child because more than anything I want to give you a big family. I just don't know if I'm ready." Tears begin to well up in her eyes her voice cracking a little. Sniffling she Buried her head in his chest.

"We will find out soon we will go from now to what ever it takes to protect our little one. Let's try to eat then if you want we can just lay in bed and watch a movie . " he takes her hand and walks her over to the table for them to eat. They eat in silence for the first time since being married. Jun is worried about her. She doesn't seem to have any energy just like Mrs. Cooper said. He will need to call the hospital first thing to see who he can get her in with fast. After dinner they decide on a comedy . Sun fell asleep within a few minutes. Jun just watched her sleep. He has missed just watching her sleep. He has missed her more than he could have ever imagined missing anyone before. He should have stayed sober and not let her go . He was so selfish thinking one of his pride and his sorrow. He will make it up to her somehow.

He closes his eyes to sleep.

When Jun woke in the morning Sun was gone his heart began to pound . He called her phone no answer. He called the front desk and no one had seen her. He ran out of the room to go looking for her. He got to the lobby trying to still call her. Frantically redialing quickly Tyra to get her. When he goes to get the car brought around he hears her laughing. Turning towards the sound of her laughter he sees her with her arms filled with flowers. Mrs. cooper standing beside her talking. With a sigh of relief he begins to walk over to her.

"Good morning ladies. I woke up and you were gone I got worried." He gives his wife an aggravated look.

"I came to ask Mrs.Cooper if she knew an obstetrician that I may be able to see. " she smiles up at her husband. Not wanting him to notice that she isn't feeling well this morning.

"Actually I already called someone dear my younger son is one . I told him last night that he needed to make time for his elder brothers child." Jun looks at her knowing that she isn't blood related. She begins to chuckle.

"Your fathers stayed with me when they were young. They became a part of our family. So of course my youngest would make time." She gives them the address to the office . Leaving them to get ready she heads home. Sun is nervous about the meeting with the Dr . What if there is something wrong. Jun knows she is nervous and instead of trying to distract her and make her more so. He calmly just holds her hand reassuringly. They arrive at the Dr office it's on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. It's a very welcoming place. They have an area just for new mothers to read up on what to expect. Jun went to the desk while Sun found a spot to sit . While Sun fills out new patient information a little boy crawling on the floor grabbed her leg trying to pull himself up. His mom rushes over to get him but Sun already has him in her arms. He is a skinny little guy. With lots of curly blond hair and blue eyes. She smiles at him when he giggles at her. His mom takes him and apologized for him. Sun lets her know it's fine that he is adorable. Just then the nurse comes out and calls them back. She lets them know she will need to get a blood test as well as a urine test . Once completed they will see the Dr. another nurse comes in and takes Sun to the lab area. There she goes to the bathroom. Then to see the lab tech for blood. Once back in the room Jun sees she is nervous so he takes her hand and holds it tightly.

"All will be well. Whatever the outcome don't worry." He kisses her hand in reassurance. The Dr comes in and smiles brightly.

"Wow you look just like your Dad. I'm Johnathan by the way. It's been years since I got to visit with him . How is he?" He looks through the blood work and turns to them.

"My dad is good. What do the results say?"

"Congratulations you are pregnant. Do you remember when was your last cycle?" He looks at Sun .

"Truthfully I don't know I have always been irregular so I never pay attention." He nods

"How about I have the nurse show you to the sonogram room. We can do one and that way I will be able to get measurements and you guys can see your baby . " he goes out to get things set up. The couple inside the room have mixed feelings. One is overjoyed while the other is not sure how she feels. Sun looks at Jun through half closed eyes hoping he won't notice her glance. She sees the joy on his face. Even though he is trying hard to hide it. The nurse comes in and shows them to another room handing sun a gown asking her to change into it. Sun goes into the changing room and sinks onto the bench. Tears begin to seep from her eyes. She wants a family but not so soon. Taking a deep breath she gets changed and heads out to the other room. Laying down on the exam table the nurse puts warm jelly on her stomach. Looking at the black screen she sees her baby. It's hands are up close to its head. The nurse turns the sound on so that she can hear it heart beat. It sounds like a drum under water. It's louder than Sun thought it would be. After taking a few more pictures the nurse instructed Sun to get changed and go back to the room.

Jun is all smiles at the fact he is going to be a father. Sun heart made a flip when she saw the baby on the screen and then heard the heartbeat. She was ready to cry again but this time it was tears of joy. While waiting for the Dr she looks at Jun.

"Are you happy?" Hoping that he is still happy about being a father.

"I am overjoyed though I would have liked to have you to myself longer. I am happy!" He kisses her to show just how happy he is. The Dr comes in and has a seat.

" you are starting you second trimester. You are around four months pregnant. The baby looks very healthy . I would like you to start taking prenatal vitamins . Also limit sugar in your diet. We were not able to determine if it's a girl or boy yet. Make sure you are not doing any heavy lifting or moving anything heavy. Moderate exercise is fine. You do not need to limit sex at this point . I would recommend not anything rough though. I know you are just visiting here so it is safe to travel just make sure you are eating regularly and drinking plenary of water. When you are back home have your doctor there give me a call and I can forward your records . I could have them copied and given to you but with you traveling I would not want them to be missed placed . " with that he stands and hands Sun her prescriptions and shakes their hands. He tells them to tell their fathers to come visit soon. Sun and Jun head back to the hotel. Sun is very drained now and wants a nap .
