"Thank you for your time," the man said, bowing his head to Elsa.
"Sorry for the delay," Elsa apologised with her hands put together in a plea sign.
The man puffed his cheeks and flapped a hand in the air. "It's nothing. So I will be back in a month, yes?"
Elsa nodded and the client walked out of the room. She relaxed on the spinning chair and exhaled loudly, looking around her room and rubbing the thing around her neck that her master had given her.
Elsa smiled as she looked at it, clutching it inside her fist and smiling again sheepishly like a child whose crush had just confessed undying love to.
Aaron had gifted her a slim golden necklace with a sapphire stone, the size of a peanut, as a pendant. She held it tightly within her grasp, her belly filled with butterflies as she spun around on her chair, humming and creating fantasies in her head about Aaron and different moments with him.
