Kelvin opened his eyes to see himself standing alone in a dimly lit kitchen.
Looking around, Kelvin could tell that the kitchen was old and hadn’t been used for a long time. The air in the kitchen was rather thick, with the faint scent of aged wood and spices that had possibly infused the walls over time. The countertops, were weathered and chipped, and the cabinets, once vibrant in their paint, had faded, revealing glimpses of their original hues.
The only source of light in the kitchen, was a small and dim flickering light bulb on the ceiling. Which was surprising due to the old and desolate look of the kitchen.
‘I guess they teleported us in different areas within the manor. And from what I can tell, this challenge is going to test our stealth and act of concealment. Which, unfortunately for me, Is one of the things I’m bad at.’ Kelvin thought, as he switched on the smart phone.
