Chapter 22. Final battle

Nighttime,

Demon slayer headquaters had now transformed into a huge mansion, it's interior constantly changing, sending demon slayers to random locations.

Currently, all the Hashira's knew that this was the one and only chance that they'll get to kill Muzan, It's now or never.

All the low level demon slayers and Zenitsu was fighting all the other demons.

Zenitsu had grown a lot stronger than before, these low level demons were nothing to him

While the Stone Hashira Gyoumei along with the love and mist hashira were fighting Muzan.

Harada was also killing all the demons he could see.

And Shinobu, Kanae and Inosuke were infront of a demon, an upper moon, named Douma.

While Sanemi and snake pillar, Iguro were fighting upper moon 1, kakushibo.

"Die demon" Harada said in a calm voice while running in a straight direction.

"This change in the interior should be an upper moon's doing if I remember correctly,but where's that demon!!" he thought.

After a few minutes of running,he saw a woman...no it was a demon, her name was the upper moon demon, Nakime who was changing the interior.

"Finally,found you!" Harada said as he charged at her with the intent to slice her neck with just one strike...."What the hell?! Argh, I should've been quieter" but as soon as he was teleported to another place inside the mansion, no....castle.

Harada found himself surrounded by tens of demons.

He regulated his breathing as he charged ahead once again while killing all the demons on his way.

"Today,you'll die Muzan!" Gyoumei said as he swung his axe like weapon.

"Hmph,just because you were able tp ambush me doesn't mena you can kill me" said Muzan as he punched with his right hand and deflected Gyoumei's axe-like weapon.

.......

"Oh,it's a girl,oh wait....It's two girls and a, boar?" Douma said as he faked an expression of being surprised.

How could a demon not sense who was near them?

And he was an upper moon at that.

He was just faking this 'surprised' reaction of his.

The next second, he appeared onfront of Shinobu.

She was a Hashira, and one of the fastest ones at that, yet even she wasn't able to see him moving.

This sent a chill down all of their spines.

Shinobu stepped away from him and tried to inject wisteria poision in Douma.

While at another place,Sanemi and Iguro were trying thier best no to get killed by Kakushibo, they heard footsteps of two people, they were Tanjiro and Giyuu.

Then with the help of Tanjiro and Giyuu, Sanemi and Iguro were able to take an aggressive stance.

After a few hours,

Harada kept running all this while,in a few hours,he had killed over 38 low level demons.

Once again, he was at the center of the castle,the place where there was the upper moon

demon, Nakime.

Just as she saw Harada, she prepared to teleport him somewhere else but Harada said

"Not anymore" as he threw his sword towards Nakime.

In the next moment,the sword pierced her head as she started to turn into ash and the castle stopped changing it's interior.

At another place,

The demon, Douma, had now killed Shinobu and ate her.

Inosuke had all of his bones broken, his sun mark was covering his entire body.

He had now discovered how and why he lost his human parents.

Near him was Kanae,she was in despair as she saw her sister, Shinobu's death infront of her eyes.

kanae had used a forbidden technique which made her right eye blind.

"Argh,what's happening!!?" Douma shouted with a distorted expression.

Slowly,after a few minutes, his body started dissolving.

It was because Shinobu had filled her body with the wisteria flower nectar, which made her entire body the most dangerous poision for any demon.

After a few minutes of painful screams of the demon, he died as he turned into ash as well.

Iguro, Tanjiro, and Giyuu were fighting the upper moon 1, Kakushobo.

Sanemi, who was previously fighting along with them had been cut into small pieces.

This fueled their hatred for the demon, Kakushibo.

Kakushibo, even though he was constantly fighting them from every direction, was unscathed.

In the next moment, other Zenitsu and Harada arrived at the location where the fight was taking place.

They jumped in and used their sword techniques to help as much as they could.

Gyoumei, love and mist Hashira were trying to hold Muzan in a place.

Sun marks were covering their entire bodies as they tried not to die.

Gyoumei had all of his bones broken yet he wasn't showing any signs of pain.

After another few hours,

Kakushibo took on his final form,Giyuu had his right arm broken and Tanjiro had most of his ribs shattered.

Sun marks covering all our bodies,

We march forward to kill the demon infront of us,

Without fearing death,without fearing pain,

Our hearts burns as our blades turn crimson

The demon looks at us with his countless eyes,

I see through

We see through

We through not only his defences but his body as well,

The heat of the battle gave us the sight,

I move forward,and I strike as I always did.

The water turns crimson yet it still remains water.

I am one with my blade

We are one with our blades

*shiii*

The sound of blades cutting a boulder resounded in my head.

The demon, Kakushibo, was cut into pieces.

All the upper moons were now killed.The only one who remained was their lord, Ktbutsuji Muzan.

At another place, the stone Hashira Gyoumei,love pillar and mist pillar, were fighting Kitbutsuji Muzan.

"Ah,It's too time consuming"

In just a moment,Muzan sacrificed his left arm and pucnched Gyoumei in the face ruthlessly, Gyoumei's head exploded like a watermelon.

Then, Muzan disappeared from the place entirely.

Then all of a sudden,neary every low rank demon slayer died, except for the pillars, and Murata of course.

Harada, Giyuu, Iguro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and kanae arrived at the place for an all out battle.

Muzan transformed into his final form.

Then we all started to attack him.

"I juat have to stall for time, I don't really remember the reason but something had happened in the canon because of it." Harada thought as he use this full force to attack.

A few hours later....

Everyone had either their bones broken or were missing limbs.

Tanjiro was the only one fighting at full force currently, while others supported him.

"He finally mastered the Hinokami Kagura!" I thought.

Even though I knew what will happen, even though I was the Main charecter, the only way to defeat Muzan was the Hinokami Kagura.

My fellow demon slayer have died, but I don't have enough time to even mourn.

"The medicine!" I recalled "it was the medicine that the female demon,Tamayo, had injected in him, due to which he aged at rapid speed and became weak with time!"

"I finally remember!"

I stopped feeling any pain,

I stopped feeling my body,

I stopped hearing anyhting,

Yet I could sense everything.

I cut many of Muzan's arms

Which was why many of the remaining demon slayers didn't lose their lives.

The castle had crumbled away and the roof was no longer there.

I feel the dawn getting closer and closer and the fear in Muzan getting bigger and bigger.

My blade had turned crimson,

My body was at the highest tempreture it hd ever been,yet....I was calm, there were no thoughts in my head, I was clam.

Finally.....after so much time,the sun had finally rose up, the sunlight burned Muzan as the light in the eyes of the remaining demon slyers returned.

But then I see Tanjiro turning into a demon,

I loose all hope once more

"Will I have to kill my brother?" This question bugged me countless in the a moment.

Suddenly,

I see Nezuko here.

How did she arrive here?

Wasn't she with the retired hashiras?

She cut her hand as she let the blood drop in Tanjiro's mouth.

Then after a few minutes,Nezuko as well as Tanjiro become humans.....

I feel happy,I feel a sense of comfort,

I fall unconscious.
