Chapter 1: Death?

In a dark room, illuminated only by a light bulb that was barely supported from the ceiling.

There was the figure of two men. One of them had white hair and a scarred face, his tired face showed the hard experience he had gone through.

Unlike the first, the second was perfectly fine, although in a precarious situation. His four limbs were tied by chains that kept him in the air.

Between the two was a table full of different instruments: knives, needles, hammer, hand saw, axe...

The first, the man whose face was smashed, was called Hei Xin. In front of him was the cause of all the suffering that led him here. But unlike the crazy and excited face that anyone who had experienced the same thing would have, Hei Xin's was only filled with exhaustion and sadness.

"You managed to ruin my life, I congratulate you."

"You tortured my parents, raped my sister, and then starved them to death. I am surprised by the black heart you have, you are young but you have already committed more atrocities than most criminals."

"You destroyed my face, and you let me live seeing that I was the cause of the torture they suffered. It's diabolical, I suffered as you wanted. Everything for this moment."

"Was it worth doing this to me, just for that?"

Hei Xin sighed when he saw the boy's scared expression. He approached with slow, heavy steps. Each step brought more fear to the boy.

When he arrived in front of him, the smell of excrement could be smelled in the dark room. Seeing that a few footsteps had caused such a reaction, he could only show a sad expression.

"Why are you afraid?"

"Is it really possible that someone like you could destroy my life?"

"Did you never expect a situation like this?"

"Sight."

"You know what's going to happen from now on, right?"

Hei Xin walked over to the table full of tools, and picked up a pliers. His left hand held the boy's thumb, holding it steady. He brought the pliers to the finger, and with one motion, tore the nail from the flesh, causing it to bleed.

The boy whose nail was torn off shivered violently. Unable to bear the pain, he let out a suppressed murmur due to the towel covering his mouth.

"Mmmmff!!!"

Ignoring their screams, he proceeded to rip out the remaining 19.

The next tool he held was some needles, specifically 20. He held them firmly and inserted them into his fleshy fingers, devoid of nails.

The boy, whose mind was not strong enough to withstand the torture, fainted.

Seeing how he fainted when he had barely started, he picked up some tweezers and electrocuted the young man's genitals until he regained consciousness.

"I'll let you scream to your heart's content, pray that it pleases me."

Hei Xin took the cloth out of the boy's mouth, and continued with what he had started.

"Forgive me, please! I'll give you anything, don't continue!"

Ignoring their pleas, he picked up the needles and inserted them into the most sensitive points of the human body.

One on each nipple, 5 along his genitals, 3 in each ear, two in the nose... Each action is designed so that the recipient does not die from excessive bleeding, and that he sees with his own eyes what is happening with his body.

Finishing with the needles, he picked up the knife. He held it before his eyes, and exhaled a breath onto the blade. The cold rush of the room quickly dissipated the humidity.

He held the knife steady, and began to carefully peel the boy's skin. Starting from the bottom, the blade ran through every part of the body up to the neck.

After tearing it off, he threw it on the ground as if it were nothing more than trash.

He fixed his eyes on the face of the young man, who was already hoarse from the screams of agony he let out. Knowing that the boy's body couldn't take it anymore, he decided to finish what he started.

After gouging out his eyes with a spoon, he picked up the hammer from the table. He dragged it on the ground, making slight sparks of friction.

"You're lucky, your body won't be able to take much longer. Tell me thank you for ending your suffering, beg me on your knees. If you do it it might end quickly."

Hei Xin untied the chains, and let it fall to the ground with a crash.

The boy shuddered at the contact of the skinless body against the cold polished cement floor. His body writhed with the little strength he had left.

Facing the poor creature, Hei Xin tried to force a smile, knowing that he would manage to avenge his loved ones. But the only thing that came out was a breath, leaving aside his inner feelings.

He raised the hammer, and slammed it into the boy's feet. This action was repeated continuously until the young man's life ended.

Realizing that he was no longer moving, he stayed still, looking at the corpse of the boy who didn't even know his name. After remaining motionless for half an hour, it moved, reacting to the siren sounds coming from outside.

Hei Xin released the hammer, letting the force of gravity drag him towards the ground.

A loud sound echoed in the room, the source of that loud noise was the entrance of a squad of police officers. They were dressed in light cloth armor, which protected them from possible attacks.

Seeing how he was getting closer and closer to him, he took out an oval-shaped object that was hidden in his jacket. He held it in his hand, hiding it from the glances he was giving him. Once he got very close, he took it out:

"I'm sorry for you, but you shouldn't have come."

"Bye bye."

Leaving those last words he took out the defensive fragmentation grenade ring.

"BRRRAAAOOOOMMM!"

-----

What is happening? I felt as if my consciousness was forcibly dragged away. I tried to open my eyes, but a headache made me frown slightly.

Suddenly, a torrent of memories flooded my mind, like an overflowing river that drags everything in its path with it. I tried to ignore all the fragments that came to mind while I try to remember that it was the last thing I did.

I remember exploding next to the unfortunate squad that came to arrest me. After that, the last thing I felt was being overwhelmed by an overwhelming darkness, losing consciousness.

Afterwards I felt a connection with my body, a shocking lightness, as if my whole body was full of energy.

"..., why am I on a throne?"

Upon opening my eyes, what I was shown was a large room with red carpets on the floor, with cold white columns, and decorated majestically. There was no exit in sight except the large door in front of me.

I closed my eyes and began to accept the memories that I had previously pushed aside.

"…, am I in a novel?"

I got chills writing the torture part.

I hope you liked it.
