Chapter 32 The Wedding/Last battle

It was finally the day of the wedding for the prince and Zala. We all found ourselves a seat, and sat down. Arya had Seth on his lap, and Rio sat next to Aqua. We waited patiently until finally the bride came out. Everyone stood. Then they all looked at how pretty she looked. She stopped to hold my hand and thanked me for what I don't know. Then she gave me a kiss on the cheek and started walking. Then finally she went up to the prince, and stood on the other side then the officiant spoke they said I do and announced everything. While they were still on stage, they decided to do the coronation. Once that was done they had their first dance. I danced with my husband after the kids danced with each other.

It was awhile after the wedding and we were still at the now Kings Palace. We were getting ready for war. "Ok so where are we putting the kids?" "Kade and the kids are going to go in the safe room. He will protect them. I've already talked to him after a lot of convincing, but I managed." Said Hazel. "Haha probably gets that from father." Then finally everyone got in the safe house, I went over to my kids. "Oh my babies. I love you so much. I will see you guys later ok? Hazel honey stay with the kids a moment. I need to talk with Kade." "Ok sure." "Kade. You know there is no guarantee that me or Hazel will make it out right?" "Yes I know. If that happens, I know where to go don't worry." "Good that you know. Lets just hope I make it out with Hazel." "Yeah we'll pray for you sis." Then Hazel said, "Protects your nieces and nephew's ok kiddo." "Yes brother I will." Then he went over to the kids and watched them play.

I was getting ready, then I felt someone help me with my armor. I looked at who it was. "Oh Hazel. You scared me. What brings you here? Shouldn't you be getting ready?" "I am ready. I just hope this battle ends quick so we can go back to our kids." "Yeah. Lets do that." I hugged him. Then kissed him, like I would never see him again. He pulled away saying, "You will see me again. Don't worry. I won't die so easy Zuri." "I know. I could. what if I died?" "Sigh. you will be fine. Plus if you did, I would protect the kids the best I can. I promise." "Thank you Hazel. I know you will." Then I kissed him one last time and hugged him. Then it was time for him to leave for his team. Once he left for his team, I went to look for mine.

Once they found out about demons, they let more help out with the future battle. I didn't get to team up with Kei and his brother Kai this time. I felt bummed. I at least got to know new people. Still water demons.

I listened to everyone's strategies. I had no problem with either of them. Then the leader spoke to me. "Zuri? Which plan sounds better?" I wasn't paying attention when he was talking. "Sorry. I was in a daze what was the question?" "You heard our strategies right?" "Yeah I did." "Which one do you think will work?" "Oh um. I think I'll go with the first one. Since I have never met the man, or remember meeting him it would be best. We don't know what he will do." "Ok that's a good plan." Then we got in position and told them we were ready.

Not long after everyone was ready, the man showed up. "Ah. Good to see some of you again. Now if you give me what I want, I will not harm you. As for what I want, I want Zuri Gold!" It was like I was possessed. I couldn't control my body. The others were trying to stop me. "I don't have control over my body!" "Stop right now!" I yelled. Then he stopped by my voice. I was a few feet from him. "Now. What do you want with me?! I am married now. I am not a Gold anymore." "Yeah I know. I sneaked into the wedding. Your father hasn't changed much." "Now what do you want from me?" "OH well. You know what I want." "You are not touching any of my children." "Oh is that so? Then I will have to start the war." "Why do you want Rio in the first place?" "He will be a special demon. I have heard of his fast milestones. He is smart for his age. He is just like your grandfather. Yes back then I killed your mother thinking that her son would be the special child but he wasn't. I just left him there. Now I am sure your son Rio is the special one." "You killed my mother? I will never let someone who killed my mother or start a war for any reason touch my children." "Oh don't worry I know about the girls and Seth too." "Get the hell out of this town and never come back. You know we will win." "Yeah well its worth it if I die here." "Fine you want a war. We will give you one." He let her go this time and the war started.

We were all fighting. The humans and demons. I wasn't paying attention and I was attacked. I screamed and saw someone had sliced off my arm. I still fought with my one arm. Then someone backed me up finally. I was loosing a lot of blood so I was getting dizzy. "Hey I'm getting Dizzy!" Then I heard someone run toward me. They caught me and took me to a safe place to stop my bleeding. Then they took me somewhere to get treated. My vision was blurry so I couldn't see who it was. While I was in there arms I passed out for the loss of blood.

"No! Doctor come quick! Zuri is coughing up Blood!" then she looked at Zuri. This isn't just a regular wound. She has been poisoned! What are her other symptoms?!" "Just cold coughing up blood fever shit. Her veins. I know this poison. I can help her!" He put his hands on her and started healing the poison. They already healed what they could of their arm which wasn't much. It only closed the wound up.

The war was closing down. The man was finally dead. The others ran with their tails between their legs. Some with and without. Hazel heard what happened and told Kei and Kai. Tyde heard as well and ran over with Hazel.

"Zuri!" He looked at her. "Oh no. Zuri." Hazel held her hand. The one that did have one. "Tyde go get a doctor. I want to find out what happened!" He ran to find a doctor and she came in. "She is fine now. She has been poisoned when she had her armed sliced off. The poison is out of her symptom. Now we did what we could for her. She was pretty damaged in the fight so its up to her will to live since she was badly damaged. The longer she is asleep the worse she could get." "Thank you doc. Are you sure there is nothing you can do?" "No I'm sorry." "Wait. Tyde is a Healer. Can he try?" "Anything will help." Then he looked at Tyde. He knew what Hazel wanted him to do. He put his hand on her body and a green light shown.

At first it wasn't working, then after awhile it did. She started groaning in pain. It is painful when your body gets healed since it has to stretch the skin to heal. Then finally he finished. Now they had to wait until she woke up.

It had been a month. She had still not woken up. Then another 2 weeks. Then finally around the time they would usually have dinner, she showed signs of waking up. Her fingers started moving and it woke Hazel up. "Zuri?" He woke up and saw her hands were moving. "Zuri. Hey its me Hazel. Its ok to wake up now. Everyone is safe. The war is over." Then she tried opening her yes but she had to adjust to the lighting again. They put a special cloth on her face to help with that. "Hmm. Ow." Then he looked at the other side and saw she had half her arm. Only down to her well no elbow either. It was slightly passed when they cut it. "Sigh. I have half an arm." "Now I can only hold one baby in my hand now." "We can figure something out." Said Hazel. "Kei and Kai. Are they here?" "Yeah guys get in here." Then they both went in and saw her. "Zuri are you ok?" "Yeah I feel fine now. I'm just upset I only have half my arm. Kade is going to make a big deal out of it." "Yeah he will." "How long have I been out?" "Zuri. You have been out a month in a half." "Seriously?! Is that how long the battle has been done?!" "Yes. Everyone is home now. They are waiting for you. Our old home." "I see. Did our new one get damaged?" "Surprisingly not." Then we heard a womans voice.

"That is because I put a spell on it to protect it." said Zala. "Zala!" "Hey there. Did you have a nice sleep?" "Haha very funny. How is everyone?" "Everyone is good. Don't worry." Then the doctor came in to check on me.

"Any pain anywhere?" "No not anymore." "OK well I'd like to say keep you here for 1 more day just in case, but since you are fine, you can go home as long as someone keeps an eye on you. For a few days." "Yes I will make sure of it." said Hazel. "Ok get changed and you can leave."

Since I hadn't moved around in a month in a half, my body ached badly. Hazel had to help change me and carry me home. When we got there he went straight to our room. "Ok I know you have rested for a long time. Give it a day or 2 then we can get your body back to normal again ok?" "Yeah sounds good."

"How is she really?" said Kade. "She is fine. Her body is just aching from not moving around for a long time. Also with her depression from loosing half her arm, it could make her healing longer."

After about a month or 2 of moving around, my body was back to normal. I basically decided to be a stay at home mom and just paint when the kids are gone and Seth is down for his nap. I still visit sometimes at the sword place and in the water. Since Eri is 16 now she is talking to her dad about moving up here. I offered to watch her and take care of her needs. He said he would think about it. Her mother died when she was younger.

About a week later I heard a knock on our new house door. I saw Eri. "So your dad agreed?" "Yes. He said as long as I do all my school work and listen to you. Not to cause trouble. Also to help out with the little ones." "Oh that would be so helpful thank you." "Oh dad already signed me up for school. I start on Monday." "Oh good. That's good. You are a jr. in the high school right?" "Yep." "Good. You will be in the same class as him. Because of his birthday." "Oh makes since. Cool. Oh did he start going to school now?" "He starts Monday as well." "Oh is it his first time in a public school?" "Yes it is." "Mine too." "Hey. If you fall in love with my brother, let me be the first to know ok?" Then she blushed. "Fine fine."

Monday came faster than we thought. They gathered their things and I walked them to their first day with Seth in my arm. "Have fun you two." I kissed them both on the head. "Zuri." They said in unison. "Oh Jeeze. Get out of here you two." Then they ran inside.

I few hours later, school was out for the big kids. Hazel usually picks up the little ones. Today he had Seth. I saw the kids come out with what looks like a teacher. "Hello. I'm Zuri. I'm this ones sister. This ones Guardian. Is there a problem?" "No. My name is Mr. Zim. I am their math teacher." "Oh nice to meet you Mr. Zim. What can I do for you?" "Well nothing much. I just thought I would like to meet the parent or guradian of these too." "Oh well it's a pleasure. If you need anything let me know. By the way how did they do their first day?" "They were ok." "Ok good. Now we best be getting home. My husband is waiting." "Uh yes of course." Then we left.

"That teacher sure is strange." "Yeah I know. He creeps us out." said Kade.

"Hazel we are home!" "Oh you are. How was school?" Then they told us all about it and said they made friends.

It was years later now. It was just as I thought. They ended up getting married had 4 kids two pregnancy's which meant twins. I stayed a stay at home mom and Seth is in elementary school still. Hazel still doing his job as an artist. Tyde. Well him and his family are doing good as well. Vince finally found a woman and got married as well. Haha she is a character. Now I know why she liked him. Everything was just peaceful.
