Chapter 29 The starting of the war

Kei came by my work and I showed him where the stuff I made was. "Here we are." "Hmm. Did I ask you about the jewels?" When I got there, Vince was already there. "Ok remember. When I give the signal, I need you to bring the box. I'll have to have someone on my team cover for me for a little bit while I'm doing it." Then I went to join the others in the water. We waited for our teams to be made. Then finally Eri's father came up. "OK everyone quiet down and listen! You will all be in groups of 4! Lets start off with Zuri's team! Kei! His brother Kai! Last but not least Soma!" Then I looked around and saw Soma in his demon form. "No way. Soma? This is your true form?" "Yeah is it bad?" "No actually quiet the opposite. No wonder Kira likes you. Your handsome in this form as well." "OK enough talking everyone! Lets finish teams!" then he went on until we were done. Then finally we heard yelling. "Its time! We are under attack!" "Ok remember what I said guys." "Yes Zuri." Then all of us started fighting. We fought for a long time until I couldn't fight anymore. I needed the box. "Kei its time." "OK sure. Kai." He knew what he was going to say. I gave Vince the signal and ran to the box. He gave me his magic key, and I got out the dagger. After this I was going to destroy it.

Then I went back to the others. "Sorry guys I'm back now!" Then I stabbed one of them with the dagger and when I did he went poof. "What the hell? I better be careful with this dagger. Then I kept killing after killing people.

Finally everyone here was almost gone. I am at my limit right now. I have to push through though. "Lets go help the others!" I yelled. "No! Not until you see Tyson or another healer! You need your strength back!" yelled Kei. "Fine! Lets hurry!"

When we got to the healing area, there were a lot of wounded people needing attention. "Zuri! Are you hurt!" said Tyson worriedly. Just scratches. Plus I need my energy replenished. "OK lets heal you." He put his hands on me, and I was feeling my body starting to get energy back. "Ok good. Thanks Tyson. How are you and your energy?" "I'm fine. I'm getting energy from one of the trainee's so I can keep going." "Ok good. Try to stay alive for me ok?" "Yeah I will."

"Ok lets go guys!" I said. Then we went around and not much people were left. We didn't see the main culprit. Then my head again. "Hello there Zuri. Are you wondering where I am? Don't worry I am here. Why don't you bring that bodyguard of yours and yourself only. No one else. I have someone here you wouldn't want me to kill. I am in the forest where you like to play with the cute animals." Then my head stopped hurting. "I hate to do this but Soma and I have to go somewhere. I know he said for us not to split up, but things aren't too bad. Go see if you can help people." "Be careful Zuri!" "I will do my best. Kei and Kai. Now go! Someone might need your help!" Meanwhile back at the grounds, Kade told Soma where he was fighting with Hazel. He was the only water creature that could be on land for long periods of time. Soma took Kade back over. His fighting was finally over. Then they caught up with Hazel. "Hazel!" "Thank goodness your ok Kade!" "Easy brother I'm still hurt." "What happened to you?!" then they told the story of how Zuri went with the man. "Dammit! That Zuri! Don't worry I'm sure she knows what she is doing.
