Topic of the night

On reaching the mansion, he got out of the car and walked to the back seat to carry Loretta who was still sleeping.

Seeing Levi with a girl in his arms, his butler couldn't help himself as he opened his mouth wide in disbelief. He quickly compose himself before anyone could notice.

"Go and arrange a room for her, make sure to buy everything she would need when she wake up tomorrow" said Levi as he walked pass his butler and walked into the mansion with Loretta still in his arms.

"Understood" replied the butler as he quickly went to do all that had been asked of him. 'Isn't that the girl that was here this morning, how come she's asleep in his arms, she literally was about to kill him this morning, so what's happening right now' thought the butler to himself as he drove off in his car to buy things which she would need.

The words throughout the night in Levi mansion was about Levi bringing a girl to his house. This was the first time any of the maids have seen Levi bringing a girl to his mansion, therefore making it the topic of the night as they were all whispering about it.

Even though demons were consider as being who loves women for pleasure, Levi have not once bring any woman to his house, so seeing him with one today was a surprise to all of them.

On waking up the next morning, Loretta was surprised to find herself in a strange room, she quickly knew this wasn't her room as everything was different from hers.

She quickly look at herself to check if anything was wrong. The moment she turn to look at herself, the memories of what happened yesterday started flooding in, although most of it were blurry, she still was able to put two on two, to know what happened.

'So if I'm not mistaken, I'm either in Levi's house or a hotel' said Loretta to herself.

She got up from the bed and looked around the room which was a very big sight to behold. She walked out of the room and what welcome her was two maids who were standing be the door.

"Good morning Miss" greeted both of the maids as they bow their heads in respect.

"Please you don't have to do that, I don't even know where I'm currently in, can you please take me to the owner of the house or perhaps the person who brought me here" said Loretta.

"If you are requesting of master Levi, then please you first have to go take a bath and have a change of clothes before he could meet you" replied one of the maids.

Loretta was surprised to hear this from the maid, but then she face down to take a proper look of herself and was shock to see how dirty and disheveled she was.

The maids walk into the room with her following behind. They show her everything she would be needing after taking her bath while informing her that Levi was the one who requested them for her.

The event in the alleyway have put her in a completely mess up state. She couldn't stop herself from washing over and over again as she remember what would have happened to her if she wasn't save.

After wearing the new clothes that the maids has shown her, she look in the mirror. Seeing as she was okay unlike before, she walked out of the room to meet the two maids who were still waiting for her.

"Please do follow us" said one of the maids as they lead the way for her.

On their way there, Loretta couldn't help herself as she look at how spacious and extravagant the mansion was, although hers was big, but it wasn't as big as this.

Upon reaching there, Loretta could see Levi in the sitting room with some papers in his hand.

"Didn't know someone as troublesome as you could be this beautiful" said Levi as Loretta approached him.

Loretta wanted to respond back, but remembering what Levi did for her yesterday, made her swallow it in.

"I want to thank you for what you did for me yesterday, I promise to find a way to pay you back" said Loretta.

"Do I look like someone who's lacking, there's no need to pay me, I did what anyone who have done in my stead" replied Levi.

"Okay then, thanks very much once again, I would be taking my leave now" said Loretta.

"Why don't you eat first before leaving, I know you're famished right now, eating in an empty stomach isn't really good" said Levi.

"I'm okay, I'm not hungry at all" replied Loretta but the moment she finished her statement, her stomach betrayed her as it started growling in hunger.

"The food is serve already, don't worry, I will drop you off after eating" said Levi.

"My dad would be so worried about me, I didn't call him yesterday, so I think I should go now" replied Loretta trying her best to persuade Levi to let her go.

"Why are you always so stubborn, can't you just agree without fighting back?" asked Levi as he look at her.

Even with all the continuous refusal, she still wasn't able to win against Levi as she sat down to eat.

After their meal, Levi drove Loretta just as he has promised, the journey was a awkward one as there was only silence between them.

Two former enemies or maybe still enemies, being in one car wasn't something they both like or perhaps one of them, as Levi was currently keeping a poker face with no single emotion showing.

On getting to her place with her giving him direction, he stopped the car for her to step down. Getting out of the car, Loretta turn back to look at Levi who was just staring at her.

"Thank you" said Loretta before walking to the gate which the guard quickly opened on seeing her.
