Fairy Tail

When they arrived at the guild building, they noticed the doors already open but it wasn't very loud like he had expected.

Looking into the open doors they were met with the sight of turned over tables, empty bottles and passed out people all over he floor.

There were a few up, obviously very hungover and trying to clean the mess with as much coordination as they could muster in their current states.

"Looks like they had one hell of a party" Alex commented with a soft whistle.

"Have they no shame?!" Carla asked with a look of revulsion.

"Why would they choose to sleep on the floor?" Wendy asked curiously.

"HAHA, I don't think it was intentional" Alex commented with a laugh.

"What the hell are you laughing at Kid!" An angry voice yelled from behind them.

Alex turned around to see a well built young man with blonde hair, he wore a black muscle shirt with fur edging around the sleeves n' collar and purple pants, he also wore what appeared to be headphones. He had a very noticeable lightning bolt scar down his right eye and a tribal tattoo on his left arm.

'Great, I just had to run into this prick before I even get into the guild' Alex thought.

"Who the hell you calling kid!? We are the same age you prick!" Alex replied.

This temporarily caught Laxus off guard and he was silent for a second before he started to get angry and started releasing his power.

"The hell did you call me?!" Laxus yelled as lightning was dancing around his body.

"I think you heard me, or maybe you need to take your headphones off while talking too people?" Alex asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"You Bastard! I'm going to make you regret coming here today!" Laxus yelled as he charged his power more.

"Please don't fight, he didn't mean anything by it. We actually came here to try and join the guild" A small voice called out to the enraged Laxus as Wendy tried calming him down.

At this point a crowd of bystanders were gathering and even the Wizards in the guild hall were getting suspicious.

"You shut up!! Weaklings are not allowed to join my guild so just get the hell out of here!" Laxus yelled at the now frightened Wendy.

Without waiting for a reply, Laxus threw his built up lightning bolt at the girl.

If he was trying to hit her or just scare her wasn't known to Alex but he didn't care anymore, a line was crossed.

A steel rod sprung from the ground in front of Wendy, effectively redirecting his magic into the ground.

Laxus was surprised by this but that surprise didn't last long, it soon turned to fear as he felt an incredibly dense and deadly Aura coming from beside him, quickly turning his head he saw the thing nightmares were made of.

An 8 foot tall Demon with long horns coming out of the top of his forehead and ominous wings on his back was staring at him with glowing green eyes.

He only had enough time to mutter "What?" before a fist smashed into his face, sending him flying through a building.

Alex had snapped when he saw Laxus attack Wendy, the fight should have been with him.

He knew of Laxus's personality and was intentionally trying to annoy him, he did not know he would stoop so low as to attack a child though.

Appearing in front of Laxus again before he fully had a chance to get his bearings, Alex kicked him right in the chin.

He knew Laxus was tough as hell and trained his body as well so he doubted it would do much permanent damage, but his goal was only to get Laxus into the sky so they wouldn't destroy the city and kicking him in the chin did the job wonderfully.

Laxus was able to right himself in the sky by turning into lightning, but when he turned back to the Demon he was fighting he instantly went on guard.

Alex was still on the ground looking up at Laxus while he slowly gathered his power, he was about to take a gamble here and very much hoped it wouldn't kill the prick.

He knew Laxus was just going through some internal shit and image problems, letting it cloud his judgment.

Deep down he still cared about the guild that raised him.

Controlling his {Fel-Fire} to target only Laxus's Mana with the command to stop right as he passes out from mana fatigue so he doesn't kill Laxus, Alex released his spell.

"Fire Demon's Rage!" A Giant pillar of green flame ingulfed the entire sky. The spell was so large it completely blocked out the sun to the point even Alex was stunned.

'Damn, so that's the power of my breath attack super charged with {Metamorphosis} eh?' He thought with wide eyes.

When the pillar of fire dissipated Alex could see Laxus falling from the sky, he didn't appear conscious so Alex moved to catch him.

'Damnit, I hope he didn't die!' Alex thought franticly as he flew to intercept him.

Upon catching Laxus, Alex was able to sense his heart beat, breathing a sigh of relief he used {Mana Manipulation} to check the damage on his body and make sure there was no lasting harm.

Satisfied with the fact that his spell had done exactly what he wanted it to and Laxus was in no threat of death he placed him on the ground.

He could already feel the effects of mana fatigue from not properly controlling his mana output.

Looking around at the gathering of civilians and also the Wizards heading his way he noticed Wendy and Carla in the lead.

Carla arrived first in a panic, "Are you alright? What was that power? Did you kill him? Do we need to run away?" she asked a flurry of questions.

"Calm down, he is fine. Just a little drained of magic, but he will be fine.

We shouldn't have to run and I don't think I could even if I wanted too, my transformation is almost up and I'm pretty sure it's the only thing keeping me conscious right now.

Tell the little short man everything that happened when he shows up, and don't let anyone hurt Wendy" Alex answered in his deep demonic voice before he deactivated {Metamorphosis}.

Just like he thought, the accumulated fatigue and backlash of the skill was enough to knock him out. 'Gotta stop using all my mana while in {Metamorphosis}' he thought wryly as his vision went dark. (A/N. Before a get a bunch of people calling Alex 'weak' for this, let me just say. Don't underestimate the size of that spell)

When Alex woke up, the first thing he noticed was the hand cuffs.

It was kind of hard not too as they didn't seem to be taking any chances with him, he had a total of 4 pairs of cuff on his person one on each of his limbs.

"This could be the start of a really kinky adult video" he muttered wryly as he observed his precarious position.

He was splayed across a bed with the cuffs connected to each corner of the bed.

'Good thing I'm not on my stomach, that would be the wrong kind of play' he thought darkly as he focused on his restraints.

All 4 pairs of cuffs where magic sealing, they stopped Ethernano from accumulating naturally and stopped one from casting spells but didn't remove the Ethernano already in his body.

Interestingly enough, he discovered with {Mana Manipulation} he would easily be able to remove the cuffs as if they were nothing.

Deciding he better not as he would probably be attacked on sight without them, he just removed their function of stopping Ethernano accumulation.

If he did end up having to flee he wanted it to be with a full tank.

As he was laying there trying to decide if he should remove the cuffs to get into a more comfortable position, the door opened.

It was clear whomever came in did not expect him to be awake yet. "Oh, you're awake" A startled voice spoke out. It came from the white haired girl that walked into his room.

She was wearing a sleeveless, ankle-length maroon dress with a pleated skirt. The chest is adorned by a large, pink bow, and similarly colored trimmings frame the rather ample neckline, acting as straps, and circle around the waist.

She was below average height but it seemed to do more good than harm.

Alex was momentarily stunned by her beauty but quickly snapped out of it.

"Uhhh, Yeah.. Hi?" he said with a comical wave of his still chained right hand.

Mira chuckled at his antics. "I will go call the Master, he wanted to talk with you the moment you woke up" she said before quickly leaving.

'Damn, the anime did not do Mira justice. She is smoken hot!!' Alex thought as the image of her giggling at him played through his mind.

It didn't take too long before an extremely short old man came into the room.

He was wearing an orange and blue outfit with a white undershirt, there was a black Fairy Tail emblem on his shirt.

His appearance was finished with a orange and blue striped jester hat, he currently had a very serious look on his face that did not match up with his outfit.

"Tell me boy, who are you? And what was your purpose in coming here?" the short old man said, not standing on formalities.

"Normally it is considered rude to ask some ones identity without giving your own, but I guess I'm not exactly in any position to demand that." Alex started. "My name is Alexander Black, A Demon Slayer wizard. I came to this town with my sister and her partner to potentially join the Fairy Tail guild" he finished.

"I am Makarov Dreyer, Master of the Fairy Tail guild" the old man finally introduced himself after digesting Alex's answer.

"You know, it isn't a very popular strategy to attack the guild you're trying to join" Makarov said with a slight smirk.

"Well I suppose I don't want to join a guild that attacks innocent children then" Alex replied not caring that Makarov was trying to lighten the mood.

Makarov's face and whole demeaner changed at Alex's words, he looked sad and maybe even a little angry.

'Looks like he knows the whole story already' Alex thought.

"For that I am truly sorry, that boy has been going through some stuff and hasn't been using his damn head" Makarov said with clenched fists.

"I figured as much" Alex said, derailing Makarovs train of thought.

"That is the reason why he is still alive. None of my magic was designed to kill him, only consume his mana. For someone as powerful as him in that mind set, it was the only way to beat him without getting people killed" Alex continued before Makarov could interrupt.

"I agree, I also have to thank you for aiming that spell into the sky. I feel like you could have easily destroyed half the city with that much power" Makarov said sounding genuine.

"Mmm" Alex simply hummed his acknowledgement.

"If you don't mind me asking, where did you learn that magic from?" Makarov asked, seemingly unable to help himself.

"I am sorry, it is better if you don't know, It's safer that way" he replied, not having any desire to tell more secrets.

Some things were better left unsaid after all.

Though Makarov was not happy with his answer he didn't push it, he knew better than anyone that some secrets were better left untouched.

"Suit yourself lad" he said after a moment of silence. "We need to discuss the situation moving forward" he continued.

"Could you maybe remove my shackles?" Alex asked while waving his hands for emphasis.

"Haha.. Sorry, it was a necessary precaution. We didn't know if you would be violent when you awoke and your flames are terrifying" Makarov said as he started to remove Alex's bonds.

"That is understandable, I was once warned by Jura of Lamia Scale that my Aura was very dark. So I don't blame you guys for being worried having received the full thing" Alex said conversationally.

He had no reason not to trust Makarov and was still hoping he hadn't lost his chance to join the guild.

Even if he did, he would still try to get Wendy and Carla accepted.

"You know Jura?!" Makarov asked, slightly surprised.

"Kinda. Back before I knew how to control my Aura, I was trying to do some shopping in Margaret town. Jura thought I was a true Demon and attacked in defence of the citizens... Was fun times!" Alex replied jovially.

Makarov chuckled at his words before getting unnaturally serious.

"Now" He started, "I have to ask, did you have anything to do with the incident in the Worth Woods-Sea?".

Alex was momentarily taken aback by his words and didn't know if he should respond truthfully, he had caused massive destruction there after all.

Figuring the cat was out of the bag and lying would do no good he confessed.

'Damn green fire, of course they would know it was me! Stupid! Stupid! Should have thought that one through' he thought dryly.

He told Makarov a story of accidentally finding an ancient weapon hidden under an Illusion formation and tracing it back to the Nirvit people.

He told him of the deal he made with the old ghost and finally the destruction of Nirvana.

While it wasn't the full truth, it got the point across and as an added bonus even made him appear slightly heroic.

'Doing a deed for the betterment of society!.. Yeah right, I'm no damn hero.. Just wanted to burn a city down' Alex thought ruefully, as he told Makarov his tale.

Makarov had no reason not believe him as the story made more sense then what the magic council was saying.

He did feel the need to warn Alex that the magic council was looking for him though.

They hadn't said one way or another if it was to be arrested or just questioned but they definitely wanted to find him.

Alex just sighed in defeat as Makarov told him of the council.

'Damnit, not even a member of Fairy Tail yet and already getting called to Era for "destruction of property" haha' he thought wryly.

They discussed a few more things before Alex asked about Carla and Wendy.

He also asked about the possibility of them all joining Fairy Tail.

Makarov had a smile on his face as he told him that Wendy and Carla had already joined and he just needed to make sure Alex wasn't hostile before he was also accepted.

'That explains why Mira wasn't upset when she seen me, Wendy and Carla must have been telling the guild about my character' Alex thought with a smile.

He was happy they didn't get branded as a threat because of Laxus's actions and his subsequent reaction.

It took a weight of his shoulders knowing the girls now had the backing and protection of a guild.

Thanking Makarov for this he told him he would deal with the Magic Council before he officially joined in case they were going to try and make him a criminal.

He did not want to drag his new 'family' down.

Makarov easily agreed and was thankful for the consideration.

Not having anything else to discuss Alex and Makarov left the infirmary, he wanted to find Carla and Wendy to tell them of his decision.

Unfortunately, I'm not super good with discribing combat scenes. They never turn out how I plan them so I usually make the confrontations short. :P It's also why this book doesn't have an Action tag.

Enjoy.
