Drama At The Audition

The days swiftly rolled by, and Brooke kept hard at practice, of both acting and using her prosthetic leg. She wasn't practicing for much physical activity, just enough for her to keep balance and finish the audition.

Her real battle would start if she landed the role.

"Miss Brooke, this is really good! You've improved so much, I know you'll be the best at the audition tomorrow!" Hannah exclaimed, watching Brooke slowly walk across the room on her own.

She had had her doubts about Brooke, but watching her tenacious behavior over the past week fully convinced Hannah that Brooke was a capable woman.

Brooke tossed her a smile, "Thanks, it's all thanks to you and everyone else's help."

"Please! Always being humble-" her voice was cut short by Brooke's phone ringing.

She picked it up from the dressing table and passed it to Brooke. "Excuse me, I have laundry to take care of." Hannah announced, then turned to leave, a hard to miss grin on her face.
