An Uncomfortable First Date

The ding from the elevator made Brooke stiffen her shoulders, at the realization that her date was just moments away from happening. The elevator doors parted, and she caught sight of Thane, who had his keys in his hand.

Her hands discreetly pulled down on her dress, which exposed her thighs, she cursed herself for going along with Hannah's advice and putting on something so revealing.

Thane walked over to Brooke and wheeled her towards the front door, without saying a word to her.

Brooke bit her lower lip, 'This dress is a bit much isn't it? Is it too late to change?' she wondered, as they approached the car they would be taking.

"Master Grayson, are you certain you want to drive?" Gilbert asked, rushing behind them.

Brooke blinked twice.

The driver wasn't coming?
