Chapter 28: Tuesday Afternoon and Lady Yue appears

Last time everyone came to Otome's house. Valkyrie explains what the Twelve Shields of the Crimson Emperor. Yue is sad.

I've been curious about Lady Yue. Otome asked. Yue was an infamous female assassin who did as she pleased. The emperor desired her strength and power. So he recruited her. Alexandre replied. She sounds cool. Otome replied. Yue is cool but her reason for her previous profession was to protect her little brother for the Jade Empress. Valkyrie replied. Why? Otome asked. That's pretty simple. The empress wants revenge. Alexandre replied. Will we ever meet Yue? I asked. Probably but she only appears when someone special to her is in harms ways. Valkyrie replied. A disturbance just appeared outside.

Is she going this right now? Valkyrie asked. In broad daylight? Alexandre asked. A shadow grabbed Otome. Otome. Jax replied. Time froze. A woman appeared with a sword and slash the shadow. She grabbed Otome. The time flow turned back to normal. Otome looked up at the woman. Bell and Valkyrie thank you for being here. Yue replied. Hey why don't you stay? Alexandre asked. Now that I can't do. I don't want to put him in harms way "again". Yue replied. He's not angry, Yue. Alexandre replied. I'm leaving. Yue replied. She slashes a portal and leaves. Kazuki rushes into Otome's room. Did you all just see a woman with long black hair with a blue-silver colored ōdachi? Kazuki asked. Dad, why do you ask? Otome asked. I see. Kazuki replied. He look disappointed. You sensed her faint presence? Alexandre asked. Dad, do you know Lady Yue? Otome asked. I could sense a roaring hatred and disdainful look in his eyes. Yue is my older sister. Kazuki replied. He walks out of her room. The room air felt thick. Why does my dad have disdain for her? Otome asked. Could you blame him? She abandoned him. Valkyrie replied. Wait what? Otome asked. Later on that day, Otome wonders why Yue abandoned her father?

In the distance, Yue sensed something was off.

Why do I sense them in Kazuki's direction? Yue thought.

Takashi walks downstairs.

The whole neighborhood is encased in a barrier. Valkyrie and Alexandre turned around. Yue sprinted and summoned her sword and slashed the barrier.

A young man appeared on a branch.

It's been a while Lady Yue. Haoyu replied. Yue slashed her sword. Haoyu jumped.

Stay the hell away from Kazuki. Yue replied. You involved him the moment you two escaped. Haoyu replied. Leave her alone! Kazuki yelled. So you are willing to come back with me? Haoyu asked. Otome and Takashi walk outside. Dad, what's going on? Otome asked. Otome go back inside! Kazuki yelled. Listen to your father! There here for you! Yue yelled. Why? Otome asked. No it's the other way around. Yue replied. Haoyu, stay away from my daughter! So you named her Otome? Haoyu asked. That's my name. Otome replied. Haoyu leaps to Otome's feet. It's been awhile my lady. Haoyu replied. My lady? Otome asked. Stay away from her. You are wondering spirit. Kazuki replied. Wandering spirit? Otome asked. Don't worry, he is going to return to Otome again. Yue replied. Haoyu looked Otome face and grabbed his head. My lady. Haoyu replied. Umm, dad what is he talking about? Otome asked. It's a long story but my family is from Superbia not here. We have a strong connection to the divine and he is a guardian that strictly protects anyone who has ties with me. Kazuki replied. To protect just your family but the shreds of a happy life you have with your wife and children. If mother and father saw this, they would be overjoyed. Their son actually got out his comfort zone found a woman who willingly married asocial person as yourself. Yue replied. Now that I think about when we dated he was very introverted and shy. My parents thought he was weird but a good weird. Manon replied. That's funny. I'm glad your safe and happy. Yue replied. I'm surprised Yue. First the emperor and now you. Something is brewing. Alexandre replied. I agree. Valkyrie replied.
