Tough Fear

Comfort's Pov:

On my walk home I couldn't stop thinking about what work awaits me at home, I knew that for as long as I stay in my parents' house, work upon work would keep pilings up like we are fucking robots.

We as children have so many things that we do, we wake up in the morning very early might I add, making sure our morning chores are done yet we are going to school by 7:00am. Once that is done, we have poultry so we go to the poultry around 6:00 am sweeping and feeding also our poultry is very big.

By 6:45 am we are done. By the time I go in to make breakfast and get it done along with bathing and getting dressed, 7:30-7:45 am would be the time. And even while you're done and ready, I'll be sent to get one or two things but anyways to sum it up, the time has gone.

I come home by 5:00 pm, yet, I am not even permitted to take a breather. Not even a single minute and why is that? Errands. That's the same for Sister Hope who comes back from work. A stressful work at that and still no time to bathe or rest.

My dad could be self-centered sometimes. All he cares about is what you're not doing for him and never once appreciate what you're doing for him. That being said, I'm currently at the gate of my compound when I noticed the gate wide opened along with cops cars lining up at the gate.

I was confused, I walked in just to see a scene I want to erase from my mind for the rest of my life. I choked my tears, I shook my head hoping I saw wrong but I didn't. My sister was lying on the ground with her work uniform filled with blood but the thing was it just looked like she was sleeping.

Her clothes looked like they had been bloody for a long time like the blood wasn't the cause of her death. I walked slowly to her, the do not cross tape had been drawn, our compound was now a murder scene or investigation scene, I could care less.

Her workers were here getting interrogated, mum and dad were also getting interrogated, her boss was also here getting interrogated. Everyone was including sister jenny while sister Winnie was doing her's through FaceTime.

Then where was honour? Of course, she would be missing for something like this. Probably pretending to be in school, they both fight anyways and never liked each other but that doesn't mean because one thing is for sure, Sister Hope wouldn't miss this if it was honour's.

Comfort: What happened!? For how long!?

Jennifer: Oh! Comfort it's okay, don't touch her body

Comfort: No!! I want my sister back!! The only sister that understands me! My only sister who accepts me for who I am! I want her back!!

I just couldn't! I wanted out. So, I went in and just sat at the foot of the bed thinking while rocking in a folded position with my knees to my chest and my head on my knees I cried.

I couldn't move anymore, I was numb. So I began to stare blankly at the wall just looking. Night came but I just couldn't move, and no one asked for me. The house became quiet and I was buried in the darkness of the night.

At 9:00 pm I began to believe that everyone had locked the house leaving me to my devices. I couldn't cry anymore. Suddenly I began to hear something like dripping water but I ignored it.

The next thing I heard was footsteps echoing, so I covered my ears with my hands. But the next moment the light in the room turned on and what I saw couldn't even make me scream, I just stared with wide eyes watching the matter.

The thing was like melted skin that came out from the bathroom. It rolled on the floor for a while. But then suddenly I could see cut-off body parts rolling out of the bathroom in heaps. They piled up before the melted skin began to attach.

It was a disgusting sight but for me, it had begun to seem normal and that was due to sister Hope always showing me scary things like this. But this suddenly began to seem Horrific when their combination ended.

The melted skin began to grow bigger enlarging like it had just finished eating a meal. I began to crawl my legs and hand still shaking and numb from my previous position.

Once it moved close to me, I grabbed the nearest thing which was my freaking unused high heels shoe, I smacked it on the thing making it splash on my body.

About to stand up when my world suddenly began to spin and before I knew it I was unconscious.
