Chapter 34: Cyclops

As Jin Hwa locks eyes with the approaching Cyclops, it utters, "Hu... human." Jin Hwa, taken aback, mutters in surprise, "What? It's speaking our language?"

The Cyclops continues, "Kil... must kill... hu... man." With those words, it swings its colossal weapon. Jin Hwa, relying on instinct, narrowly dodges the attack. Frustration evident in his expression, he remarks, "Tsk, attacking out of nowhere."

Quick to defend himself, Jin Hwa summons his glaive and activates the Famished Blade. Charging toward the Cyclops, he delivers a powerful slash, only to find that it leaves no visible mark. Jin Hwa, perplexed, thinks, "Huh, what? It didn't work?!"

Before he can react, the Cyclops seizes the opportunity and launches another attack, catching Jin Hwa off guard and sending him sprawling to the ground. The unexpected strength of the mythical creature leaves Jin Hwa reeling as he tries to regather his composure.

Thrown to the ground, Jin Hwa quickly gathers his thoughts. "That speed... It's big, but it's agile," he observes as the Cyclops readies another powerful blow of its weapon.

Reacting swiftly, Jin Hwa activates the skill Slumber, causing the surroundings to slow down. Seizing the advantage, he charges at the Cyclops with newfound speed. Targeting possible vital points, he employs the skill Rapid Strike along with his glaive, managing to land a small but effective wound on the mythical creature.

"A small wound is better than nothing," Jin Hwa remarks as the Slumber skill concludes, the pace of the battle intensifying once more.

In the midst of the intense battle, Jin Hwa struggles to analyze the Cyclops's movements, searching for a weakness. Despite his efforts, he finds nothing discernible. The Cyclops, fueled by rage, lets out a primal scream, disrupting Jin Hwa's focus and causing him to lose his composure.

Seizing the opportunity, the Cyclops hurls a colossal blow with its weapon. The force of the attack overwhelms Jin Hwa, rendering him unconscious and bringing a temporary halt to the fierce exchange. The battlefield falls silent, with Jin Hwa lying unconscious, vulnerable to the mythical creature's next move.

As Lilith arrives on the scene, she discovers Jin Hwa lying unconscious in front of the Cyclops. Without hesitation, fueled by protective instinct, she charges at the mythical creature. The Cyclops, however, stands silently, unfazed by Lilith's approach. She mutters in frustration, "Tsk, you cocky piece of shit!"

As Lilith lunges at the Cyclops, a mysterious thread of string materializes, blocking her attack. Lilith, surprised and irritated, realizes she can't break free from its restraint. Thoughts racing, she wonders, "What? What's this? I can't break free!"

Suddenly, a mocking laugh emanates from the back of the Cyclops. The laughter is irritating, filled with a sense of pity. "Ha..HaHahahah! What a pity!"
