Chapter 5

Mr. Pratap Singh Goyal looked at his grandson who looked at him with nonchalant expression and wondered where those smiles that are given to that little girl in the orphanage comes from.

"Aaj aap vaha nahi jayenge." Pratap said as he looked at his grandson who looked at him with a cheeky smile and said "Nanaji, when did I ask for your permission whether to go or not?"

Pratap smiled at his grandson before he looked at the servant who served him dinner and left them alone and his smile left his face when the servant disappeared.

"I heard you used my name to throw out a girl who just joined as a caretaker. Why?" Pratap said and Advit again in spoke in a nonchalant tone, "She hurt Mahi."

"She said Mahi wasn't listening to her and that's why while teaching her, she by mistake hit her too hard." Pratap stated.

Advit gave Pratap a smirk and that smirk on a 13-year-old was still chilling and he said "And do you believe her? I only got her out of the orphanage, you threw her out of the city. I was still the calm one here Nanaji."

Pratap Singh Goyal laughed loudly and said "You have already learned how to respect people and have become a qualified heir to my and Rajeev's business. You will start learning about both sides of our work now."

The old man got up to leave and his straight back when leaving looked victorious at his happiness of finding a perfect heir for his business as well. His daughter was too kind to handle the dark side of his business.

Advit continued eating even as his Nanaji left. He smiled remembering how his Mahi pronounced his name and whispered to himself.

'Adit...'

-

Advit stared at his guards as they stood in front of him with their head lowered.

"Leave." Advit said as he knew they couldn't find anything about the girl. There was too less information about the girl.

He closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair. Closing his eyes, he imagined those eyes that almost took his life away. He felt lost in those light brown eyes. When he first met his Mahi, he was a kid and there was nothing in his head except how the girl is his. He didn't know why; all he knew was that he missed her in his life.

All he saw was those light brown eyes looking into his soul. Her eyes took his breathe away, but it was even more difficult to breathe when he looked away from her. He was too young to understand his emotions but all he knew was she was his life and letting her would mean suicide.

He did keep her till he could and was preparing to adopt her into the family but... before him someone else took her away.

Now, all he must do is to search for that girl whose light brown eyes again made him go crazy and he knows that is his Mahi.

Before he could think more about this, he heard his secretary knocking on the door. "Sir, those men have been brought down."

Advit got up and left his room to go to the hall downstairs. His eyes were on the two servants that tried to mix something in his wine glass in the party last night.

"Who told you to do that?" Advit asked as he sat down in front of them on the single seat couch. His one hand holding the lion head on the arm rest and other on his chin as he smilingly looked at the two male servants kneeling in front of him.

"Sir, we really don't know..." the man stuttered out a sentence and Advit took a deep breath and said, "I really hate when people don't answer my questions."

"Since, they don't want to answer, we don't have to ask them. Let them go." Advit said as he stood up buttoning his coat and was leaving as his guards stopping holding the two servants. Those servants got up to leave when his guards pulled out the gun and shot them as they stepped out of the Goenka mansion.

Advit looked at his watch and intended to go up when Abhaya came inside shouting. "What the hell?! Didn't I say that all these things shouldn't happen at home till Mahira is here. How can you guys be so careless!"

Advit who heard this looked at Abhaya who was staring at his guards in anger and walked towards her. "Why? That girl herself is Mr. Manish Mittal's only daughter, she should know about her family already, so why hide anything from her?"

"Bhai, I hope you won't bring this up again. Mahi isn't aware of these things." Abhaya said as she glared at the guards.

Advit smiled, this time his smile held chills and he looked at his guards who nodded his head and walked out to bring the girl his sister cherishes this way in. well, since he doesn't want to change his ways, he should make sure his sister's best friend does.

"From now on, you won't have to take care of this." Abhaya looked at Advit in confusion when she heard Mahira's shout and wanted to run towards her, but Advit's secretary held Abhaya back.

"Please calm down miss." Abhaya who was looking at Mahira being brought inside by the guard looked at her as she was looking at the mess in shock. There was nothing wrong in the hall, everything was looking fine but exactly outside this beautiful hall at the entrance were two dead bodies shot right in the middle of their forehead.

For Mahira who has always been protected, this was more shocking than a horror movie. She felt a chill creep on in her and her body shivered as she tightly covered her mouth with a scream.

"Bhai, stop it!" Abhaya said as she heard Mahira's scream.

Advit couldn't hear anything at all. All he could do was watch as the girl he was looking for was standing right in front of him. Those light brown eyes riddled with tears and fear looking right at the entrance in shock. His eyes were taking in all of her. she was wearing a red Anarkali that looked sinful on her. his steps without any concern moved towards her. his pace unhurried like a professional hunter unwilling to scare his prey but also sure that his prey won't run away.

"Mahi." He whispered as he moved towards her while the guards who were still standing behind Mahira moved away to let their Boss move close to the lady.

Mahira who looked at him with fear as she moved away from him when he held her hand. He kept his eyes on her face reluctant to look away when Mahira's eyes rolled back, and she fell right in his arms. Abhaya who was struggling in the grasp of her brother's secretary finally threw him away and ran to Mahira practically snatching her away from Advit who glared at her. she swallowed her fear of her brother and called for a servant but when that servant wanted to touch Mahira to pick her up, Advit himself picked her up in his arms and took her to his room despite Abhaya shouting at him.
