Chapter 26 - Maddie

Present day - 

Author POV- 

Maddie was fuming, she had no clue as to how this had just transpired. But she was slowly catching on. Her thoughts all jumbled as she tried in vain to get out of this predicament without needing someone else to witness her humiliation.

Maddie believes her and Ace are destined to be together, even if they are not fated mates, some aspects of their relationship are not ideal but she has come to accept their reality as fact. Her Father has often told her of the future the Seer foresaw, though over the years the story was mangled and contorted in his mind just enough to ensure difficult times ahead for them all. 

Because of the story told by her Father, Maddie and Ace both believe in their shared destiny and are fully devoted to the prophecy that will see them to the top of their pack even if they are not devoted to one another and they often seek entertainment elsewhere.
