Chapter 16

"What... What... Did..... did...."His eyes went shut and he fell on her.

After what happened at the Princess hotel, everything went on smoothly,with Hardin and Lavender, trying so much to build their relationship.

They played lovey dovey together,it was on one of their vacation that Lavender received a message from an unknown,at first she was scared to open it,but when Hardin told her to... She did,but her heart shattered to see it was pictures of Hardin having s£x with the girl.

With tears,a heavy and bleeding heart! She ran away from the vacation and went back home,and that got Hardin rushing after her.

She got to her house,but staggered back in shock when she came face to face with her worst nightmare! Gerald!! Ava's biological father,he was sitting in the living room with a Lady, smoking regally.

Hardin gasped to see the lady was none other than his long divorced wife,she was already carrying Oliver who wouldn't stop beaming in all smiles.

What in God's name was this two doing together? Lavender and Hardin thought separately.

"So it's true after all! My little boy wasn't lying"Hardin's ex wife chuckled.

Her statement struck them heavily! So Oliver was the one giving them information? Oh gawd! How bad did he turn?

As the story progresses, Hardin is confused as he found himself torn in between! His long divorced wife was back, claiming him as hers, while the girl came back... Claiming to be carrying his baby.

All within the space of how many weeks? Lavender was trying her best to take all the challenges,she did her best to overcome! And she still loved Hardin,her love for him kept increasing.

It soon became a battle for both parties,as each struggled to win, Gerald was claiming Ava to be his daughter,but Ava resents him till the last drop,she wasn't ready to hear such. To her,the only Daddy she has is Hardin which she loves and cherishes.

As the story thickens, Hardin who was confused as to why the both parties (His ex wife and Gerald)was back to ruin the home he was trying to build,got drunk and on his way back from the bar house,he met with a fatal accident.

An accident which caused him Amnesia,making him forget about Lavender and Ava,and was only forced to remember his ex wife and son.

According to the doctor,it was said that he could only remember his ex wife,cuz his memory went back to five years ago,the time he was still with his wife,the time he still loved her and made her his number one priority.

Lavender who got to know about this was devasted,as Hardin couldn't recognize her or Ava. The day she went to visit him in the hospital, Hardin asked who she was and that tore her into pieces,she was still in the shock when Hardin's ex wife walked in,and without much difficulty... Hardin called her "Honey" right in her presence.

To Lavender,it was More like a nightmare to her as she was forced to watch them act like couples, Hardin's ex wife saw that as an opportunity to play her card well and take that,which she thinks rightfully belongs to her.

Hardin's ex wife met with the girl from princess hotel,she threatened to kill her, thereby making her confess that she wasn't pregnant,she never had s£x with Hardin to begin with! It was all a set up,a set up programed by lavender's best friend ~Charlotte!!! 

She paid the girl and asked her to buzz out from the picture if she truly value's her life,scared of death... She disappeared leaving without any traces which got Charlotte furious for a little while,but thinking about Hardin's ex wife return,she exhaled! Now,her friend will stay away from Hardin! They were never meant to be,to start with.

Lavender became a complete shadow of herself,as she fought for her love,but will she really conquer? This got her getting ill and she had to consult a doctor, and that was when she found out she was pregnant.

She was pregnant for him! That night.. the night when Hardin got drunk,they both made love which resulted to her pregnancy!! Happily, lavender ran to Hardin and informed him about the pregnancy,but was pushed out of the house by Hardin,who claimed he was innocent and haven't seen her before,all his life!!

Out of rage, Lavender proceeded into commiting suicide,but when she saw she still had a little princess to take care of,she restrained and saved herself from doing such. She was determined to make Hardin remember her,she was determined to make him remember them.

Charlotte who saw her friend was a complete mess, began feeling guilty and was forced to let Lavender know of her act. Lavender broke down in tears,not believing her best friend was able to do such.

Weeks slowly turned into months,and things was the same.

A day came,when Hardin went to pick Oliver from school, and that Day... He met the students bullying Ava again,who quickly ran to him for safety.

A sharp pain hit him as he held his head tight, while staring at the little angel who was crying, holding him tight.

"A... Ava?"He stuttered out her name.

His memories was back,he remembered every damn thing! Quickly,he carried Ava and drove straight to Lavender's Mansion.

It was such an eye catching moment to behold! Lavender was in all tears of Joy, while Oliver kept burning in rage.

Quickly,he took his phone and secretly called his Mom,who rushed down to the scene with a gun in her hand.

"Have you lost it? Put the gun down!!"Hardin shouted,but she only chuckled angrily before grabbing Oliver's neck,then pointed the gun at him.

"Be mine Hardin,or I'll kill our son"she threatened,making Oliver to start crying.

Why was his Mom being unfair to him? Why was she pointing a gun at him? Right there,he regret ever contacting her! He regret letting her know of his Dad and Lady Lavender's affair.

Lavender, senselessly ran to them and they both began dragging the gun,a gun shot was head almost immediately and all eyes went wide.

"Lavender...."

"Mommy!!!!!!"

Both Ava and Hardin screamed as they ran towards Lavender,who was falling slowly.

The gun took her stomach actually. Hardin ex wife escaped from the scene, while Oliver blamed himself for what happened.

It was at the hospital that Hardin got to find out about the baby,but sadly... They lost it cuz of the incident.

Lavender was broken, while Hardin vowed to make his wife pay,she made him lose his child. Oliver pleaded with his Dad,for forgiveness,he pleaded with Ava and said he already accept her as his sister. 

It was all difficult for them to forgive him,cuz he was the reason for all this! It was him.

They forgave him after all,not like they have a choice.

With the help of the cops, Hardin found his wife who was about leaving the country, and after the court trial,she was sentenced to twenty years imprisonment,but it was later found out that she committed suicide in the cell,she killed herself by hanging.

Gerald on the other hand was arrested for drugging and was sentenced too!

Months later, Hardin proposed to Lavender, letting her know of his feelings for her. she accepted happily and it was a happily ever after!!!
