Sweetly Scary Feelings

I'm not sure how I managed to but I made it back to Em's room I can still feel my heart beat like crazy, fast and loud. What the hell just happened still not sure why but as soon as I bumped into Michael and just as he held me up to stop me from falling I felt the pain in my body drop to an unfamiliar low over taken by a warmth of tingles coursing through me none stop that was totally weird but some how comforting and yet a little bit scary too.

What was that all about? Things were so awkward last night but Michael seemed so different just now he was a bit charming and carefree maybe his mom was actually right and sometimes stress does make people act out in different ways! he did seem stressed our a bit mad last night.

It's close to 8 a.m.  now so instead of going back to bed I decide to take a shower and get ready for the day Em should be up any minute now.

After a little while Emma wakes up and takes a quick shower as well, we make our way downstairs to grab some breakfast and head over to the pack doctor's office for the appointment Emma arranged for me.

A little over half a day of examinations, questioning, testing and what not Dr Highland decided that it would be best to continue with the check up later on considering my low stamina to withstand any more. We arranged the net check up for the day after tomorrow Dr highland suggested a day in between to rest and recuperate before heading back in would do me good. We get back to the pack house that seems to be once again empty I guess everyone is just really busy we grab a quick lunch and I head up stairs to rest I'm feeling a bit drained from today.

After a nap I wake up and notice Emma is no where in sight but I did find a note that she's headed for the training grounds and once I'm up and willing I should head over to meet her there!

Naturally I got ready and headed over As I'm stepping out of the house heading over... I hear a "Good Evening Miss." from a person standing next to the front door I look over it's Nathaniel third in command good evening I reply back. 

After a quick introduction! he asks "Are you heading over to the training grounds just now?"

I nod at him and respond.  Yeah! on my way to find Emma she said she'd meet me there but come to think of it I'm not exactly sure where I'm supposed to go?

I hear him slightly chuckle I look over at him his light blue eyes sparkling in amusement,

Emma kind of figured you wouldn't remember where to head to so she had me come over to check and see if you were ready to head over there.

Well thank goodness for her over protective and considerate nature. I smile back at him with a slight bluish as we head over in the direction of the training grounds.

I can't believe Emma sent me a babysitter she might be a little over a year older then me but please cut the umbilical cord mom.

It's like she can't even trust me to brush my own teeth now a days I'm not that delicate I still can manage plenty on my own.

Don't get me wrong love her to death, I've always felt rather close to her not sure why? Ever since we became friends after meeting and helping her out with some minor difficulties a while back. And then letting her know of my situation some time after that she kicked it in to over protective mode there after. She drives me nuts at times ... ok practically all the time 24/7  but I've got to love the girl for worrying about me constantly. Especially since the only family I had is gone all I have now is her and Kevin.

"We're here!" I hear Nathaniel exclaim it took us about 4 minutes to get here!... Thank you Nathaniel!

I see Emma and head over to her ' Wow I could of made the long arduous and perilous journey all by my self but thanks for the babysitter mom! ' 

I shake my head at her and sit next to her on the bench she was currently sitting on.

Emma looks at me with wicked contempt for about a millisecond "Your welcome we wouldn't want you getting lost crossing the streets all by your self now would we!" I glare wickedly back at her too!

Ok so what's going on what are we doing here miss know it all (Emma)

"nothing much I just felt like stopping by today to check out the training and besides today my brother and his beta Taylor will be training with all the new warriors testing out the potentials for the elite guard positions."

Oh!. Is as much as I manage to say  as I'm lost to the scene that's right in front of me. I see Michael and Taylor going head to head leading ...  I'd say ten other young men in a series of tasks and challenge sprawled through out the vast space in front of me some tasks more gruesome than the last.

I'd say Michael trains his warriors like military soldiers I've come to notice the discipline his warriors on patrol show. I've got to admit it brings me back to my childhood and spending time with grandpa Joe watching him train his soldiers at the academy from afar as grandma baked her pies or cookies during summer afternoons before he retired and they moved to the beach house permanently with grandma and my self after everything that happened with my parents.

Not even 20 minutes after I arrived and everyone of the guys on the training ground started shifting into their wolf form as they finished their last tasks and continue their workouts. I once again get lost watching as Michael now in wolf form leads the wolfs to the center of the arena where they are met by Taylor (a big chestnut brown wolf) Nathaniel (a dark brown wolf with light brown paws) and several other Wolfs. 

All of a sudden both groups charge at each other and collide with one another then after some time everybody stops after a loud thundering growl is hear I look over to were Michael is standing bare naked as the day he was born he gives a command and every body heads towards their clothing and starts shifting back I try not to look around out of embarrassment but all of a sudden the urge to look up is stronger than me I lift my head up and I am instantly meat with Michael's beautiful golden eyes and a proud smirk on his face which I can only add a deeper blush to my face and nervously try to look away. Thankfully now he's wearing basketball shorts, I hurriedly look towards Emma who is oblivious to my predicament at that very moment.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me every single cell in my body is screaming at me urging me to run to Michael to wrap my arms around him to hold him to kiss him to be near him and the way he was looking over at me did absolutely nothing to help my situation.

What in everything that is holly and great is happening with me?...
