After that, both Kudo and Akira left for the academy. The academy was located a little far from the Hyuga clan, it would take around fifteen minutes of walk to reach the academy. Just when Kudo and Akira left the Hyuga clan territory, Kudo said to Akira

"Akira, do you know the way towards the academy?"

"yes, so I don't want you to accompany me", Akira replied

"Okay then, I also needed to go to perform my mission, so I will be leaving", Kudo was a Genin now and he also started to perform missions for the village. Just when Kudo was about to leave, a palm hit him directly on the head, and almost knock him out. It was Hirose with his Byakugan activated.

Hirose said in an angry tone.

"I'm really really sorry Father", Kudo directly started to kowtow.

"If I found out you left Akira alone again, then you would have to sleep outside tonight", Hirose told to Kudo.

After that Hirose left, then both Akira and Kudo walked towards the academy.

" I thought you have some stupid mission to do, so you can leave if you want", Akira said mockingly to Kudo. But Kudo just ignored him. Finally, after reaching the academy, Kudo left.

Akira was assigned to the same class as Itachi Uchiha. There was also a kid from the branch family of the Hyuga clan. When that kid saw Akira he just turned his head away, Akira thought this would be one of those kids whom he had beaten while practicing taijutsu.

Akira was confident that he could apply for an early graduation like Kakashi and get out of this academy. But Akira decided to wait until nine tail fox attack, because if he graduated early then he would be assigned missions and may leave the village and miss the nine-tail attack.

Akira wasn't exactly sure about the date of the nine-tail attack, But Akira vaguely remembered that Naruto's birthday was on October 10, Akira knew this because he read this on some fanfic. But Akira wasn't sure about this date, so he was always ready to start his plan. Naruto's birthday and nine-tail attack were on the same day.

Months passed by,

During this time Akira was already famous in the entire ninja academy for his talent in both academics and Ninja training. Except for Akira, there was also another kid who was famous, it was Itachi Uchiha.

During the sparing session in the academy, Akira and Itachi were always paired together. Mainly because none of the other students were a match for them. But Itachi would lose every single spar with Akira.

It was almost getting nighttime. Akira was sitting in a meditative state in the grassy field where he always trained. Akira was 90% sure that this was the day when nine tails will attack the village, so he was mentally preparing himself to kill people. Even though Akira caused the death of many people in his previous life, he had never personally killed anyone. So he needed to mentally prepare to kill, he doesn't want to lose focus while he was killing.

Akira wasn't planning to go home today. He had told his father that he will be training with his friends till night. Akira was currently wearing a tight black dress, some of his hairs were hanging over his face, and his zanpakuto was stabbed to the ground right beside him. Moonlight was falling over his body, today was a full moon night. Overall, it created an atmosphere of a devil waiting for his prey.

Suddenly he opened his pure white eyes and asked.

"I already know you are standing behind the bushes, come out"

Kudo who was standing behind the bushes suddenly came out. Kudo also deactivated his already active Byakugan.

"I knew it, you were lying to Father about playing with friends. Father may not know but I know that You don't have any single friends in the academy, so when I heard you were training with friends till night, I secretly follow you."

Kudo said in excitement. It was always Kudo who would get scolded by Hirose, but this time Kudo found out that Akira was lying to their father. If Kudo said this news to Hirose then Kudo can watch Akira getting scolded.

"I knew you were following me since the moment I left the house. You were only following me because I fucking want you to follow me. But I must appreciate your patience, big brother, you were standing there for almost three hours"

Akira said this with a cold and mocking voice.

"Don't try to act so cool you little punk, and what is that sword near you? That is not the sword Father brought you. Where the hell did you steal it from? "

But what replied to Kudo's question was a kunai flying towards him. Kudo suddenly jump to the side and dodged the Kunai. But the kunai was still able to leave a little scratch on Kudo's face. Kudo suddenly activated his Byakugan and shouted.

"What the fuck are you doing Akira? are you planning to kill me because I found you?"

What replied to Kudo's question was another kunai flying towards him. But this time Kudo deflected that kunai with another one in his hand. Akira already stood up and activated his Byakugan.

"I know everyone in the clan says that you already have the strength of a chunin, but I don't believe what those old geezers say. The only reason I never fought with you was because of our father, but now that you want to fight me I don't need to restrain myself anymore."

After saying this Kudo directly rush towards Akira who was standing beside a sword that was stabbed into the ground. Kudo used the eight trigrams sixty-four palms. Akira also used it and both of them engaged in a taijutsu fight. Just when Kudo saw an opening and was about to attack, Akira suddenly activated one of his A-class Jutsu

"Rassengan"

Kudo was currently surprised to see this attack coming from his brother, Kudo also knew it was too late to activate palm rotation and defend against it. So Kudo used his hands in an attempt to defend against it. But to Kudo's surprise just when Akira was about to hit his arms Akira directly kicked Kudo's leg and made him fall down, then the Rasengan which was in Akira's hand directly hit Kudo on his stomach. There was a giant crater created on the ground and in the middle of the ground there was Kudo lying motionless with a big wound on his stomach.

But to Akira's surprise, Kudo was still holding on to his last breath. Akira picked up his zanpakuto and jump into the crater.

"I don't wanna die…. Brother", Kudo said in a very pathetic tone. But Akira didn't mind him and directly stabbed his zanpakuto in Kudo's stomach and said,

"Incinerate"

Suddenly flame rose from his blade and burn Kudo from the inside out until there were only ashes left.

The only reason Akira allowed Kudo to follow him was because Akira needed to test his own resolve also Akira doesn't want to have a mental breakdown when he does his first kill, because if Akira had a mental breakdown after his first kill in the middle of the nine tail attack then that would be a devastating loss for Akira. So Akira needed someone to be his Guinee pig for the first kill, and Akira's brother was the best person to be the Guinee pig. Akira always wanted to get rid of this brother who was a pain in the ass.

After standing before the ashes of his brother for a while Akira said to himself,

"killing isn't as hard as I thought"
