Their Own World

Unable to control his desire Lu Xiang touches XiaoAi's cheek as his eyes get moist seeing the shade of red on her back. Sensing the familiar touch XiaoAi wakes up and is rather surprised at this uninvited gesture of her husband. Lu Xiang with a soft and caring voice asks XiaoAi forgetting about his anger, " Does it hurt? ".

XiaoAi is baffled at this question and with an innocent look replies with a question, " What?",

she remembers what happened earlier and replies as realization struck her, " Oh! you mean my cheek, don't worry I even forgot about it", a warmth generates from Lu Xiang's heart seeing his foolish wife when he sees that she does not even knows that her back is hurt.

"Idiot, your back is bleeding, are you not even aware of it", said Lu Xiang.

XiaoAi thinks to herself ' I know that my back is bleeding and who are you calling an idiot....XiaoAi you have to endure all of this once this is all over and he starts trusting you, you can escape this horrible place'.

Seeing the spaced out expression on her face Lu Xiang asks XiaoAi "What are you thinking about ? ".

XiaoAi replies with a gentle smile and a loving expression " Lu Xiang I know I have done many bad things to you and I promise I won't say anything no matter how much you punish me or torture me but can you please forgive me and give me a chance to love you again....Please".

Knowing what she was thinking sends a shiver down Lu Xiang's spine as it was a new change in his wife but he still feels reluctant and says with the usual cold voice, " I'll think about it but don't you get ahead of yourself..... No matter what you only belong to me".

Hearing this XiaoAi can't help but force a smile on her face while trying hard to hide her fear.

Seeing her tensed look makes Lu Xiang feel happy for a while as her applies medicine on her wound and tugs her to sleep while patting her head and lying next to her.

They both embrace each other but keep their guards up not sure what the person next to them might do and close their eyes. They both drift to their own world, the only place they can trust and love each other freely, together .
