In the city of Happy Harbor there was a huge mountain, which gave the city fame for being the first HQ of the Justice League, but after another plan by the Joker, it was compromised. It now served as a base for the Secret Operations Team made up of the heroes' rebel apprentices.

Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superman's clone Superboy, and Martian Manhunter's niece Megan Morse or Miss Martian, the five of them were watching the broadcast battle alongside Red Tornado.

"By Neptune...that level of power is beyond us." Aqualad said in shock.

"They're going all out." Robin said with sweat dripping down his forehead.

"This...this is beyond anything I've ever seen." Megan said without reaction.

Kid Flash and Superboy didn't say anything, one because he was eating a huge sandwich due to anxiety, and the other was in a bad mood, but only to hide his own insecurity within himself.

"I assume you now understand why Batman canceled his mission?" Red Tornado asked.

"Yeah… we'd just be in the way." Kaldur said in understanding.

"But still, it's very frustrating." Robin said, his eyes hidden behind his sunglasses.

"Hey guys, Sunspot just got hit badly!!" Kid Flash said with his mouth half full.

Everyone turned their attention to the holographic screen, and saw that the Brazilian superhero had been attacked from behind.

The two warriors attacked at the same time, their fists collided causing an earthquake, the ground beneath them cracked, unable to withstand the impact of the power of the two beings facing each other. Black Adam was a little impressed, few could keep up with him like that, but he was just getting started.

Adam punched again, as did Sunspot, they both punched each other without caring, they both relied on their own physical resistance. Soon, the battle rose to the skies. Both combatants flew with agility, exchanging quick and precise blows in mid-air. Sunspot, taking advantage of his energy capacity and superior speed, skillfully maneuvered to position himself in front of Adam. His movements were agile and fluid, like a deadly dance.

Sunspot attacked first with a right hook, which Adam easily blocked, countering with a powerful punch that Sunspot narrowly dodged. They twirled through the air, with Sunspot using the speed advantage to maintain the pressure. With a spinning kick, Sunspot connected with Adam's shoulder, forcing him to step back momentarily. Adam responded with a quick advance, landing a series of blows to Sunspot's torso.

The fight continued fiercely, with each fighter making the most of their physical abilities. They moved among the abandoned factories, their shadows dancing between the metal structures. At a critical moment, Sunspot managed to grab Adam by the arm and throw him against one of the factories, which gave way on impact. Adam, however, quickly recovered, rising from the wreckage and launching himself at Sunspot again with renewed furious determination.

'Time to get inventive' Sunspot thought as energy flowed through him, releasing small spheres of energy that floated around Black Adam.

"You think this might hurt me." Black Adam arrogantly challenged, his voice full of contempt.

But his arrogance soon dissipated as each of those spheres exploded into streams of energy. Although they were not powerful enough to seriously injure him, they surprised him, forcing him to retreat.

Taking advantage of the opening, Sunspot charged energy into both hands, his eyes burning with determination.

"You underestimate my powers too much, Adam." Sunspot said before firing a beam of energy directly at the former Magic Champion's chest. The impact was devastating, throwing Adam to the ground and creating a crater in the island's soil.

Sunspot landed near the crater, believing his opponent was sufficiently injured. However, his confidence was quickly shaken when a beam of energy struck him in the chest, fired by an angry Adam emerging from the rubble. Although the attack did not seriously hurt him, Sunspot felt the strength of his opponent's power and realized that the fight was far from over.

"You know, I have to ask, if you lost your job to Captain Marvel, then how the hell does the Wizard or the Gods allow you to keep your powers?" Sunspot questioned, a real question.

"This doesn't concern you, boy!!" Black Adam responded, flying with his fists open in front of him, aiming for Sunspot like a rocket.

*BAM!*

The impact of the two bodies colliding echoed across the desolate island. Sunspot was thrown backwards, but recovered in the air, releasing a beam of energy as he spun. Adam dodged with a quick movement, coming forward again with a powerful punch that Sunspot barely managed to avoid.

"No, seriously, you were the Champion, the most powerful mortal alive, at a time when there was no Superman, Wonder Woman or even the Justice League, you could have gone down in history as the primordial hero." Sunspot spoke as he fired more energy, pushing Black Adam away to a nearby hill.

*WHAM!*

Sunspot countered with a spin kick, using his speed to hit Adam's side. The force of the blow sent Adam back a few feet, but he quickly stabilized himself. With a roar of rage, he launched a blast of lightning at Sunspot, who deftly dodged it, his hands glowing with energy as he counterattacked with a series of glow projectiles.

"But no, you have corrupted yourself, become just another tragic example of absolute power corrupting absolutely, and now you are a mere doormat sent to do the heavy lifting, congratulations, OH! Mighty Adam, the Mad Dog." Sunspot continued to mock Black Adam, who was already cornered on the mountain.

Black Adam was furious, he let out a roar and his hands dug into the mound behind him, and using Amon's absolute strength he lifted the huge mound above his head, Sunspot seeing this was impressed, he couldn't say he had already done this . Seeing someone do this made him rethink this universe. Sunspot's distraction caused Black Adam to crush him with the pile, breaking the ground, with huge cracks all around.

Martian Manhunter thought he should intervene, but Batman suggested against it, he explained that they couldn't be involved in a crisis like this, it could make the world worse.

The alien hero reluctantly stopped, it went against what he had learned on Earth, but he understood the logic behind his friend's thinking, but that didn't mean he liked her.

"You talk too much, boy." Black Adam said, walking over the hill and walking away.

Sunspot, despite being injured, managed to get back to his feet, shocking everyone watching, the bets around the world increasing in volume.

His eyes burned with renewed determination.

"That's all you got, Adam!?" He screamed, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

*CRACK!*

Sunspot launched into a fierce attack, his powered fists glowing brightly. He hit Adam with a flurry of rapid punches, each blow reverberating like thunder. Adam blocked and counterattacked with his brute strength, but Sunspot was faster, deftly dodging.

*THUD!*

Adam managed to land a direct hit, knocking Sunspot into a wall of one of the abandoned factories, the structure collapsing around him. Sunspot rose from the rubble, his anger only increasing his strength. He ran towards Adam, skidding on the ground and landing a trip that made Adam lose his balance.

*BOOM!*

The fight intensified, with both combatants using everything they had. Sunspot dodged Adam's punches, counterattacking with precise blows. He used his speed to stay one step ahead, attacking from unexpected angles. Adam, on the other hand, used his brutal strength, every blow he landed caused an explosion of debris all around.

*KRAK!*

Sunspot grabbed Adam by the arm and threw him into a pile of twisted metal. Wasting no time, he fired a blast of energy, exploding the stack in a shower of sparks. Adam emerged from the explosion, his fury growing. He charged forward like lightning, hitting Sunspot with a headbutt that knocked him to the ground.

*THUD!*

Sunspot, panting, stood up again. He knew he couldn't match Adam in physical strength, but he would use his agility and intelligence to turn the fight in his favor. With a quick movement, he launched a series of energy projectiles that surrounded Adam, exploding around him and creating a smoke screen.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Sunspot lunged at Adam, hitting him with an energized punch that sent him crashing into a wall. Adam roared, his anger reaching a new height. He flew towards Sunspot, his fists encased in electricity. They collided in mid-air, creating a shockwave that shook the island.

*BOOM!*

The battle continued on the ground, with both combatants wreaking havoc all around. Every punch, every kick, every blast of energy destroyed more of the environment. The fight was a brutal display of power and skill, with each trying to outdo the other.

"Wow...*sigh* you shouldn't try so hard, it could give you thrombosis, old man." Sunspot said with a smile.

"Even the boy in red wasn't that insulting, even he only made childish comments, you on the other hand, it's like a poisonous snake was in place of your tongue." Black Adam said with electricity in his fists.

Sunspot smiled, his fists were also enveloped in energy, they were about to increase in power.

"Wow, I didn't know girls were so quick to spread gossip about me." Sunspot joked about the situation, but his only response was his opponent's roar.

Only for Black Adam to stop in surprise, Sunspot, without understanding his enemy's reaction, had no time to think due to the blow he received in the back.

"URGH!!" Sunspot screamed in pain as he fell to his knees on the ground, a shadow shadowing him.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING SORCERER?!" Black Adam shouted at the intruder.

"Ending this madness Teth Adam , this battle has already gone beyond what was necessary, Bane and Sport master have already been removed." Wotan, an ancient sorcerer said to his companion.

"You!!... You had no right." Black Adam said taking a deep breath for the first time in years.

"Please, you were obviously being pushed to the limit, you weren't that injured when you fought the Kryptonian or Captain Marvel." Wotan said seeing Black Adam's state.

Black Adam was in bad shape. Blood oozed from several deep cuts on his arms and legs. His once imposing uniform was torn and stained red. His left leg was visibly injured, forcing him to put more weight on his right to maintain his balance.

His face was swollen, with one eye practically closed due to severe bruising. The right side of his chest had multiple burns, likely from Sunspot's energy attacks, and his left shoulder was dislocated, hanging at an abnormal angle.

Small cuts and scratches covered his body, but what caught the most attention were the huge bruises and the areas where the skin seemed almost burned, highlighting the intensity of the battle.

"You were one step away from being defeated, Adam. I couldn't allow that to happen." Wotan continued, his voice carrying a calm that contrasted with Black Adam's visible fury.

Black Adam, panting, looked at the sorcerer with anger and exhaustion mixed in his gaze.

"This isn't over, Wotan." He growled, even as his body showed signs of being on edge.

"You two...urgh! Are you done yet?" Sunspot's voice caught the two's attention.

"Impossible!! That blast should have immobilized him for hours!" Wotan said shocked only to receive a punch to his chest that threw him away hitting Black Adam and sending them both back.

Standing, smoking slightly, was now Sunspot without the energy blanket covering his body, revealing his identity to everyone, along with the injuries that his body was accumulating.

"This is far from over!!" He said as he raised his arms with a new wave of energy bathing his body as his eyes glowed with fire.

Wotan, composing himself, called upon his powers, an ominous glow emanating from his hands.

"Very well, then so be it." He muttered, summoning Snowflame's body, now controlled by his magic. Snowflame charged forward, his eyes empty, but his body moving with brute strength and impressive speed.

*BOOM!*

The earth shook as Black Adam rose again, joining forces with Wotan and his puppet.

'It's now or never!!' Sunspot thought as he prepared himself.
