After checking his new spell which was passive spell, "so this practically makes me immortal, well, once cell immortal," he pondered as he crossed his chin, "well, hopefully when i upgrade it, more cells become immortal" he sighted as he flew away, with his leathery wings.

-scene change-

In a destroyed and desolate town, sitting in the center was Cain, positioned in a lotus stance as fire crackled in front of him. He exhaled deeply, his eyes opening with a glint of determination, "Perfect, I am already halfway through level 25." In the last couple of days, he'd been dispatching duplicates, scouring vampire-infested areas, confronting night creatures, and even encountering the smaller goblin creatures for the second time. He retrieved a book from his stone talisman, its pages revealing sketches of different night creatures and their abilities.

As he began drawing the green creatures, noting details like their ambush hunting tactics and weapon preferences (primarily daggers), he abruptly stopped, "No bird sounds or crickets," he observed. "Maybe I should note it as one of the vampire's abilities," he mused, his dragon eyes revealing his surroundings—a circle of encroaching danger.

Suddenly, a shadowy figure stepped forward. This figure had exceptionally pale skin, sharp canines, long black hair, and piercing grey eyes. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the butcher himself," the vampire taunted in a British accent. "The slaughterer of vampires, bane of all night creatures, the one-man army," he continued, listing the titles bestowed upon Cain by the locals due to his actions over the past few months.

"Are you here to praise or kill me? Because that is pointless," he declared to the vampire, closing his eyes as more creatures emerged from the shadows, surrounding him. "Wow, mate, you are as cocky as they said," the vampire remarked, smiling, while another vampire, dressed for a cold climate, warned, "Be careful, he has the strength to back it up," in a Russian accent.

"This livestock wouldn't be the death of me; he is simply a bull amongst cows," said the British vampire, commanding the night creatures to attack. A bear emerged from his shadow—Tank, the undying shadow of Cain—slaughtering the night creatures left and right. "Right, I forgot about that thing, the undying shadow of his," the British vampire muttered as he watched his army being devoured, torn from one limb to another.

"You should intervene; that shadow bear might kill most of them," warned the Russian vampire. The British vampire groaned before leaping forward, appearing in front of the bear, punching it and sending it tumbling into Cain's side. Cain opened his eyes, "Now, should we get the party started?" The vampires hissed as Cain summoned a duplicate who snapped his fingers, causing the vampires to sprout bat wings and launch toward him.

However, they hit the ground hard, as if gravity had multiplied on them. The duplicate continued to snap his fingers, setting them on fire and pounding them to the ground, over and over again. With each snap, they burned, until there was nothing left but their bones. "That was something," said the duplicate before disappearing into particles.

A/N guys i know Verney is death in disguise but i didn't know that when i was writing this arc, and by the time i got to the end, i already wrote bunch of chapters, hence VERNY THE OC, yes, i made the verniers into separate characters.

PS: cain is now immortal(as long as he levels up the spells) and so is Diana, although she is just immortal not invulnerable unlike when cain levels up this spell. SO YEAH, FOREVER AND EVER.
