Connors looked at Dr. Octavius Parker, seemingly aware that he wasn't the Peter he knew, but finally, his gaze fell on Parker's waist, he asked: "Are you injured? And it seems to be very serious…"
Saying that, he turned around, retrieved two syringes from a cupboard nearby. As he approached Dr. Parker, he passed the syringes to him, saying, "These are the mature versions, tested and proven. Just one jab, your wounds will heal perfectly, and even lost limbs can be regrown."
Dr. Parker silently received the two syringes, but hesitated before saying, "Can I take these with me?"
"Where are you going?"
Dr. Parker turned to look out the window, under the particularly bright moonlight, and in a nostalgic tone, he slowly uttered two words: "Home."
"You say you want to go home?" Peter looked Dr. Parker up and down, and asked, "Right now??"
"Correct. Just send me back the same way you brought me here." Dr. Parker replied, looking at Peter.
"The problem is, I have no clue how I brought you here in the first place." Peter, who was holding a thick stack of files, made a bitter face.
"The secret of magic is making what you think happen." Dr. Parker repeated the phrase Peter had muttered before teleporting them, and said, "If you're able to use magic, then use it to send me back."
"...I'll try, but I can't guarantee success." Peter said a bit reluctantly. As he spoke, he placed his hand on Dr. Parker's shoulder, focusing his energy and continuously chanting, "Make what I think happen, make what I think happen..."
After a flash of light, Dr. Parker appeared in the quiet cosmic space. He gripped the transmitter in his hand, using his Spider-sense to communicate with the Spider Totem to orient himself towards his own universe.
In an instant, he found himself in a familiar room. Outside the window, surveillance robots were buzzing around. The policemen and security guards patrolling the street were all wearing the mecha he himself had designed.
Dr. Parker looked down at the Lizard Serum in his hand. He took a deep breath, seemingly making a very brave decision.
In a corner almost forgotten by him, the remains of Otto Octavius had been preserved. Dr. Parker stood before the body, placing the syringe in its hand, then activated the body-swapping device.
During the operation of the device, he heard the soul fragment of Peter Parker inside him speak, "No! You can't do this! Your body is about to die, you'll die..."
"Silly boy."
As his voice fell, Doctor Octopus opened his eyes again.
Feeling the intense discomfort inside this almost dying body, fragments, aging, pain, it was far from the usability of the young and healthy body he'd had.
But he managed a smile, grasping the Lizard Serum in his hand tighter, then plunged it mercilessly into his shoulder.
Then, on the skyline of New York City, four giant mechanical tentacles broke the surface.
A middle-aged man in a trench coat and sunglasses once again stood under the sunlight. He inhaled deeply, turned his head to face the hustle and bustle of New York City center, and the sun high in the sky.
Spider Man, having regained control of his body, jumped out from a hole in the ceiling. Stretching out his tentacles, he said to Otto, "Doctor Octopus, calm down. I feel like you're not a bad guy, we can talk this through!"
Octavius looked at him, inhaling deeply, a roar that seemed directed against both Spider Man and his own frustration, broke through the clouds overhead, echoing in the New York sky:
"Spider Man!! You'd rather fly around New York for three hours every day! Instead of worrying about the future of the human race!!!!!"
