After their deeds we're made public no one, not even apprentices with poor aptitude and chances wanted to enter a Warlock family as they would rather die free than as a slave.
After that day the decline of Warlock family started as no one wanted to enter them as such they could only buy slaves from the market and their own procreation for the increase in numbers.
As the technology of this age had made multiple leaps and as the Sages had also contributed to this by coming up with various advanced technology which is further enhanced with magic, so it was no problem for them to come up with super high-end microscope that could even see the ways to make more warlocks.
When Knave had first read about this branch of Sages he really wanted to become one of them, as not only did they have many abilities that could even Sage in their very Rank be jealous but they also had a longer life span than others.
For example, a Rank 1 Sage can live up to 500 years after they advance while a Rank 1 Warlock could live for 1000 years, the same is true as their Rank increases.
They would always have twice the lifespan compared to their counterpart Sages, and this is what fascinated him.
The reason that he was really interested in the Sage world was because his dream of immortality or maybe partial transcendence could be believed here and what could be more attractive than higher life span.
Even with all the other cons he could still somehow cope with but the last and the most dangerous con of not being able to go past the bloodline shackle was the reason that he had almost given up on this idea.
As far as he knew, there were 9 Ranks in the Sage path, and after every 3 Ranks, there would be a qualitative change to the Sage himself.
If one were to become a Dawn wolf Warlock then he would stop advancing after reaching Rank 3, if he was able to reach 3rd rank.
Meaning, he would not even be able to know what the first qualitative change was, it was not like there were no Warlocks with a Rank 4 or higher bloodline, but it was very hard for them to even advance in this world as the world is not strong enough to even accommodate more than 10 Rank 3 Sages.
So, most of these warlocks with higher bloodline leave this world for the Sages world after every 10 years when the portal to the Sage world opens, and obviously, they do not leave behind any bloodline or meditation method of a high tier for their bloodline.
So, for now, Wade had given up on being a Warlock and would only consider it if he were given the chance to have a Rank 6 or 7 bloodline.
Putting all these messy thoughts aside Wade redirected his gaze back towards the new guy and Xavier to see what new developments would take place.
While he was waiting for some new changes, Alfred who was standing beside him just now started to head towards Xavier, it was only now that he remembered that Xavier and Alfred were under the same mentor.
Maybe it was because of how different their character was that he had almost forgotten this point.
Alfred slowly went towards Xavier and bent down to check up on him, after a good time he let out a sigh of relief and then finally turned towards the two golden-haired wolf's.
"I would like to apologize instead of my senior apprentice for his irrational action of fighting you, I hope you can forgive him and not make this fight any more dangerous than it already has become," Alfred said.
"Oh, and why should I not beat that piece of shit anymore just because you say so. I know that my brother can be rash sometimes, so if it his fault I do not come between people who would want to beat him up.
But this time it was clearly not my brother's fault, it was that piece of shit who provoked us and even wanted to torture my brother.
The most concession I would give you is that I would not kill him, but I will definitely cripple him to the point that he cannot even move for the next two years.
Otherwise, you people will think we Perry's are easy to bully because we don't take the initiative to fight"
When Wade heard what surname the wolf guy had the felt real sympathy for Xavier, even if this snobbish guy had to go and drop a hammer on his feet he should not have chosen such a heavy one.
Perry's were one of the few peace-loving Warlock's on the continent, they were one of the only families that were not defamed during the past incident which had just been mentioned.
It was said that as Dawn wolf's by nature were peace-loving and none aggressive creatures, Warlocks who inherited their bloodline has the least emotional aggressions and this they were quite a powerful community which had a very good relationship with various Sage families and Academy's.
It was even said that no matter what happens during a fight between two people in which one if a Dawn wolf warlock, if the party who started it was them then they would not stop it even if their own kind is beaten to a half death situation as long as he is left alive.
The similar is true for the opposite, if the one who started the aggression is the other party then no matter what the whole Wolf community would be behind the victim wolf member to seek vengeance for him.
There had hardly been any such cases though as nobody would want to be an enemy of such a powerful group, if he sees any past records then there can hardly be any cases found even in a decade.
But who knew that he would see one on this trip.
