Chapter 8: Quest

3 years later…

It's been 3 years since I found myself stuck in this game. I have been grinding since I had that little "incident". I went from level 10 to level 100. And I maxed out the Nightmare Blade. I have maxed out everything. I even changed my outfit. I found out alot of things. This is a VRMMO game called "Dark Souls: The Darkest Black Aura". I also figured out that I only know about games and nothing else. Every memory that has games in it, I remember it. I even remember what my room looked like. It was your standard middle school room. Posters on the walls, clothes on the floor, chargers everywhere, you get the idea. I even know my name in the real world. I'm Aidan. Aidan Heller. But my friends call me Adrian. That's all I remember, just like the window said in the beginning. All my memories from the past are deleted. But there is a way to get them back. There is a quest you can take where you have to beat a level 100 boss, that is the final boss of this game. If I beat the boss, I get all my memories back, and I get to leave this game. It's a win-win. I opened my eyes and looked at the alarm clock on the side of my bed. 7:30 am. "Looks like the dungeon is open." I mutter while rubbing my eyes. I throw the blanket against the wall and grab my coat. My coat is an all black coat with a bunch of pockets on the front. I have the same kind of clothes as that, but its pants. I put on my clothes and head out the door. I equip my sword and run down the mountain that my house was on. I built that house 2 years ago. A comfortable house where I can look at the sunset. But that time is over. Today, I finally escape this hellscape.
