The brunette Alpha shook his head.

"D-Did something happen to her when she was a child?" The hybrid asked reluctantly.

Ian nodded and sighed in relief when her sister patted his back. "It's okay. If you're with her, she'll be okay!" She smiled softly at him. "Take care."

"I will." He smiled and was about to walk away when he turned around, "By the way, Any news about Valente?" He questioned and immediately regretted his decision, seeing her eyes welling up with tears as soon he asked her.

She shook her head, her lips quivering. "I wish he comes back now." Taking a shaky breath in, she meekly spoke.

"Well, whenever he does, he's getting a beating from me for leaving my sister for so long." He wiped her tears with one hand as the other was holding Melody.

She chuckled, softly and sadly, sobbing in between.

"Training at?" He asked raising his eyebrows, changing the subject.
