Chapter 43
Soft snores were heard by Suni's sensitive white ears. She woke up by those, promptly realizing that she had slept again. It was comfortable, cozy, and warm hence she slept. What came as a great shock to her was that she was where she was before and not somewhere else. She was right there, in her mate's embrace. Why had she not turned into the dragon? Why had it not come out when she was asleep?
She sighed, not knowing the answers. Whatever the reasons were, she was grateful and it was a relief. Keeping her thought aside, she smiled as she glanced at Valente's peaceful face. Sleeping feels like heaven when one is stressed. Her hand reached out to caress the healed cut on his cheek whilst she peeked at the window where the sunlight came in. It was time to wake up.
