Even as the green disturbing creature looked around, the portal was slowly expanding, it was only after a while that it's eyes landed on Xiao Chen.

It's previous curious gaze turned into a gaze of a viscous predator, it immediately roared as it rushed out of the portal.

"F*ck" Xiao Chen though as he unconsciously stepped back, but in his mind he was coming up with a plan, although he knew the world was ending, he wasn't planning on dying so easily, he wasn't raised like that.

His muscles bulged as he tightly held the baseball bat, waiting for the green creature to attack.

It had really jumped.

It's speed alone frightened Xiao Chen, but in that split second he also reacted, the metal baseball bat which was slightly dented was swung with all his might.

In a split second three more had jumped out of the portal, their sharp fangs drooling as they gazed between Xiao Chen and the dead goblin body.

Xiao Chen was sweating profusely, but he controlled his breath and stood still, in the end the three goblins rushed towards the dead body, shoving each other to devour it.

"Why are they so anxious to eat it.... could it be?" Xiao Chen became shocked, in most situations like this, monsters would eat each other to become stronger.

"Like hell you will get stronger" Xiao Chen roared, at this point he was no longer scared of these things, his strong mind had helped him accept reality, this was a near impossible feat alone in this worlds current circumstances.

Xiao Chen rushed quickly, the baseball bat in his hand, with a crazed look he slammed heavily into the last goblin before smashing it in the head with the baseball bat.

The others were shocked as they realized their comrade had been killed, they quickly turned around and bared fangs at Xiao Chen.

"F*ck, why am I still here, this room is too small" Xiao Chen thought, but at the same time, the feeling of getting stronger got the better of him, he knew it was the only way to survive right now.

The two goblins rushed towards him, their musky bodys carrying a terrifying Oder as they opened their jaws, ready to bite Xiao Chen to death.

After sending the two beasts flying Xiao Chen rushed up once more, his baseball bat slamming consecutively into the two goblin's head.

Only the green blood could be seen flying around as it painted the walls.

Xiao Chen ignored the notification as he looked at the mess he had made, he hadn't even killed a chicken, yet today he had taken so many lives.

"They wanted to kill me.... I shouldn't feel bad" he calmed himself, his shirt was stained in blood and the baseball bat in his hand was crooked beyond recognition.

"I- it closed?" Xiao Chen was surprised, the portal had actually closed, he was expecting more, but it really closed.

"It's even more dangerous outside, I should prepare before stepping out"

Xiao Chen hurriedly rushed to the bathroom, after taking off his shirt he could clearly see he was much stronger, his muscles firmer and more refined and detailed.

"If this goes on, won't I be too strong?" He thought, it was a wonderful thought.

Surprisingly the shower was still working, after taking a quick shower Xiao Chen hurriedly changed into some nike joggers and wore a tank top, a short sleeved shirt, and a black nike hoodie.

He knew he definitely wouldn't be here again, he had even grabbed his phone.

"Ok that should be enough" Xiao Chen thought, he had stuffed his backpack with some small snacks, drinks, anything closed that he could find in the fridge, he even stuffed a blanket in their, along with some knifes that he usually kept.

"Alright I'm ready" Xiao Chen easily wore the backpack as he prepared to leave, he tightly gripped the doorbell and peeped through the hole.

Although outside was chaotic, his hallway area seemed to be eerily quiet.

Don't tell me everyone in the boys dorm building has died?

Xiao Chen shook his head helplessly, if he could help he would, but if it would cost his life? He wouldn't even think twice before leaving.

The only people he would sacrifice his life for was his family.
