With nothing but the will to live, Arthur managed to hold off Heldra's trident until it was canceled. He gritted his teeth to hold back the backlash from using a spell that powerful out of desperation. He wasn't yet ready for such magic.

"Huh? Are you really Arthur Bellrock?" Heldra was stunned by his mana manipulation. As she was in the air, she got to witness how he conjured a fire shield. At first, she thought it was a mere firewall that her water trident could shoot through because magic users of his type weren't capable of that type summoning powerful barriers of that stature.
