Reyna had Ingrid dressed and sat on the sofa. Then, Reyna tidied up the things and cooked Ingrid a bowl of noodles.
Reyna had noticed that Ingrid hadn't had a morsel of food all night.
Reyna pushed the noodle to her. Ingrid glanced at the noodle in front of her. The dense fog from the noodle obscured her swollen face.
"Reyna, thank you."
Ingrid did not recall how many times she had said thank you to Reyna today.
Reyna did not ask Ingrid about the details. She just watched Ingrid eat without saying anything.
After finishing the noodles, Ingrid put down her chopsticks and said, "I'm a bit fatigued. I'd like to have a rest."
"Ingrid, are you sure you're all right?"
Ingrid put on a smile and looked at Reyna, "Don't worry, I won't resort to committing suicide. I will take it as bitten by a few mad dogs."
Ingrid said calmly, but Reyna knew that Ingrid might not be able to endure all the hard feelings though she acted like she was light-hearted.
