"You went from hating villains, to wanting to be one quiker than I expected."

I crossed my arms across my chest. "So am I in or what?"

Shigaraki shrugged. "We only accept the most… powerful villains into the league."

"I am powerful." I said confidently.

"That might be true but you never had it tested."

"I don't need to be tested to know that quirk wise, I am on the same level as you."

Shigaraki stared up at me from where he sat at the desk.

I continued, "I know I can do it. Besides, I have already been doing work for you for the past month."

He looked at me a moment before nodding. "Fine."

"Really?"

"I guess."

I smiled at him. "Thank you."

"It's not going to be easy, you know."

"I know."

He nodded and got to his feet. "Well, let's go let the others know."

I followed Shigaraki into the common area in the league's building. Toga, Dabi, and Twice were all in various areas of the room.

"Everyone," Shigaraki announced. "Please welcome our newest member, Y/N."

"Oh my god! Finally another girl in the group!" Toga squealed as she ran over to us.

Twice and Dabi made their way over to us. Twice held out his hand for me to shake. "Welcome to the league!"

I grasped his hand and shook it. "Thanks."

"Are you fucking serious?" Dabis low voice said.

I looked at him. "What?"

Dabi glared at Shigaraki. "You let her in?" His voice was laced with anger.

Shigaraki stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Why not?"

"She was a fucking hero ten minutes ago!"

I took a step towards Dabi. "I quit." I said. It was true. A few hours ago I called Death Arms and told him I quit. He laughed and said okay. Really shows how important I was. Not.

His eyes shifted towards me. "I am glad. But you shouldn't be in the league."

Anger filled me and I was seeing red. "And why the fuck not Dabi? Endeavor killed my father!" I clenched my fists at my sides.

"What?" Toga asked.

"Endeavor killed Levin?" Twice asked.

Clearly neither Dabi or Shigaraki updated her and Twice on how my father died.

Shigarkai nodded.

Twice opened his mouth to say something but Dabi glared at him and he quickly shut it.

"I thought you would have been happy about this." I said to Dabi.

His eyes pierced through me. "Why would you think that?" He growled.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "You were the one saying that I should quit a few weeks ago."

"I didn't mean for you to join the league!"

"Well to damn bad." I crossed my arms.

We glared at each other for a long moment. Dabi was the one who broke eye contact as he stormed out of the room.

I rolled my eyes. "Hes such a fucking baby." I muttered. It was then that I noticed everyone staring at me, looking like they had seen a ghost. "What?" I asked.

Toga blinked. "He didn't kill you."

"What?" I repeated.

"What Toga is trying to say," Shigaraki interrupted. "Is that no one has talked back to Dabi like that and lived."

"Oh."

"Congrats!" Twice cheered.

"I am sure he will get me back at some point." I added, "When there are no witnesses."

"Unlikely." Shigaraki said. "Anyways, you need to stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"Getting so angry that your eyes start glowing. It's creepy."

I blinked. "What are you talking about?"

"Your eyes start glowing yellow. You did it the other day as well."

I frowned. "I didn't know I did that." I admitted.

"Maybe that's what scared Dabi off!" Twice laughed.

"Is it really that scary looking?" I asked.

"Yes." Toga said.

"Oh." I said.

"It's a good thing though!" Toga elbowed Twice. "Right?" She asked him.

He quickly nodded. "Right." He affirmed.

I gave them a small smile.

"Do you need a ride home?" Shigarki asked from my right.

I shook my head. "I am going to talk to Dabi."

He looked at me through his bangs. "Are you sure you want to do that? He seemed pretty ticked off."

I rolled my eyes. "He needs to get over it."

Shigaraki shrugged. "Alright. Well, good luck to you."

I nodded and left the room.

First I went upstairs to the level where they had their bedrooms. I knew where everyone's room was because Shigarki had Twice give me a tour a few days ago. He wanted me to know where to find a specific member if I needed it, incase of an emergency.

I knocked on Dabis door. When no one answered I knocked again. I waited a minute before giving up.

Then an idea hit me. I strode over to the stairs and went all the way up to the roof.

I pushed the heavy metal door open. A breeze of cold wind pushed my hair into my face. I brushed it back and looked around the roof.

I knew it. I strode over to the railing where Dabi was leaning on it with his forearms. A cigarette between his fingers.

I stood a few feet away from him and leaned against the railing, my back to the dark city. I stood there for a few seconds waiting for him to acknowledge me. When he didn't, I spoke. "You should stop doing that." I said.

He didn't look at me as he said, "what?"

"Smoking. It's not good for you."

"Why do you care?" He said gruffly.

I grabbed my upper arms with my hands. It was so cold tonight. "Because I thought we were friends."

Finally, he looked at me. His blue eyes seemed to glow in the darkness. "We are." He said.

"Then… Why did you get so mad about me joining the league?"

He looked away from me and took a long drag of his cigarette. "Because you don't know what villain life is like. You don't know what you signed up for."

"I think I know what it is like."

He shook his head. "You know what heroes say villain life is like. Not what it actually is."

I stared at him but he didn't look at me. "Well, I should be able to adjust just fine. Plus, I have you to help me out."

He didn't look at me or say anything.

I straightened and walked over to him so I was right beside him. "Are you okay?"

He flicked his cigarette away and looked at me. "No." He said as he stepped away from the railing.

"What wro-"

Dabi cut me off. "You are going to get hurt and since I care about you, it's going to affect me."

I blinked. I did my best to regain my composure. "Well then you should help train me so I don't get hurt."

He stared down at me for a long moment. "Fine."

"Good." I said. Then, before I could think twice I blurted out, "So you care about me?"

"That's what I said, isn't it?"

I nodded. "Yeah I was just making sure."

He looked away from me. "Is Shigaraki making you move in here?"

"He hasn't said anything so I don't think so."

He nodded.

"Well, I should get home now." I stated.

He looked at me. "Do you need a ride?"

I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling, as I nodded.

"Let's go then."

Dabi pulled up in front of my apartment.

I reached for the handle to open the car door.

"Y/N." He said.

I paused and turned to look at him. "What?"

"I was wondering if you-" He paused and shook his head. "We will train tomorrow at three. Just come to the building."

I nodded. "Okay, I will see you then. Thanks for the ride."

"Anytime princess."

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car.

I walked up to my apartment building. Dabi left once I went inside.

"Who was that?" Mei asked as she strolled into my room.

I jumped and whirled around to face her. I had just gotten out of the shower a few minutes ago and was currently only wearing a pair of shorts and a t- shirt, exposing my arms.

I shut the closet door and leaned against it, my arms between my back and the door. "Who was who?" I asked.

"The person who dropped you off. Duh." She sat down on my bed.

"So what? Are you stalking me now?"

She raised an eyebrow. "That was the second time that person has dropped you off. I recognize the car. Did you get a sugar daddy? Because that car is so fancy there is no way someone who's not a sugar daddy bought it."

"It's not a sugar daddy."

"Then who is it?" She crossed her arms.

I thought for a moment, trying to figure out the best way to explain who Dabi is. "He is an employee of my new employer."

"New employer?" Mei asked, confused.

I completely forgot to tell Mei that I quit. Shit. I nodded. "I quit working with Death Arms this morning."

Her eyes widened. "But you were getting close to moving up! You worked so hard to be a hero Y/N. Why would you quit?"

"Because they don't value me at all, Mei. They never cared about what I had to say or my opinions on things. So I quit and found something else."

She raised an eyebrow. "You found something already?"

I nodded. "Well, he contacted me a few weeks ago but I declined then."

"Who is he?" Mei inquired.

"I can't disclose exactly who he is. But he's a very wealthy man who needed a bodyguard."

"Is he hot?"

I laughed. "Maybe a little."

"Is he the one who dropped you off? It would explain the expensive ass car."

"No, that was another bodyguard of his who dropped me off."

"Well was he hot?"

"Very." I smiled.

Meis' mouth dropped. "Oh my god! You have a crush!" She scrambled to her feet and ran over to me. She threw her arms around me. "I am so excited."

I laughed and did my best to keep my arms behind my back.

She pulled back, and in the process pulled me forward causing me to stumble. Mei grabbed my upper arms to steady me. When she looked down her smile quickly faded. "Y/N." She breathed.

I yanked my arms from her and hid them behind my back. Panic filled me.

Mei looked up at me. "Why did you do that?" She whispered.

I looked away from her. "Can you leave please?" I asked, with equal quietness.

"Why did you do that Y/N? I thought you didn't do that anymore."

"Yeah well sometimes things change. Can you please get out of my room?" My voice gradually getting louder.

"Why would you do that?" She demanded.

"Get out."

"Y/N,"

"Get out Mei."

She glared at me before turning around and storming out of my room.

I let out a breath and leaned back against the door. I am so upset that Mei saw it. She didn't know I relapsed about a month ago. I have only done it a few times but still.

I looked down at my arms and swore. I leaned my head back against the wooden door.

My phone vibrated. I pushed away from the door and walked over to where it sat on my bed.

I picked it up to see a text from Shigaraki. It read:

Shigaraki: Good luck with Dabi tomorrow.

Me: Should I be worried?

Shigaraki: If you were anyone else, yes. But since you are you, I wouldn't worry much.

Me: Why not?

Shigaraki: I think Dabi might like you.

Me: I doubt it.

I shut off my phone and got ready for bed. I know I have a long day ahead of me.
