Don't Enjoy This Too Much

Nitte picks up her clothes.  She also grabs Jack's shirt then deeply inhales it.

"What type of experience do you think you just had?" Nitte asks.

Jack sees her planting her face in his shirt.  It feels like they are connected again. Damn. Never in his life has he gotten turned on again so quickly. He thinks he can do it again now, if she wants to, too. But he knows this is his weakness. He thinks she is playing with him. Even though his mind is acknowledging this, he is still helplessly attracted to her right now.

He flips her around for her to look at him. He puts one hand on her body as he bends forward to try to kiss her again, but she puts a finger on his lips, stopping him.

"Poor Jack. I'm going to guess you think that experience was an extraordinary one. But it really was so ordinary for me. I feel bad for you now. What kind of relationship did you have? It seems like you have never known what else can be done. There really is a better experience than this," She makes a hand gesture, shaking her palm, "What we just did was really kind of bland."

Damn it. He knew he probably shouldn't have asked. Now he really wants to try the other kind. See what it would be like if it was the super good one.

"Well, at least you are not punishing me then, huh?" Jack says.

"It is not the punishment type of experience, but, I didn't expect you to like it so much. Since you really enjoyed it, then I guess this will be enough for a punishment."

"Why are you trying to torture me?"

"Because you broke your promise to me."

"What if I will never break my promise to you again," Jack speaks softly. He is even surprised to hear himself saying that. Damn it, Jack. What are you doing? You are acting like you are falling in love. Stop it. You do not need this bullshit. And she is crazy.

Nitte shakes her head, "Uh-oh. Jack, don't enjoy this too much. Remember, one of your sources of energy is sadness. If you have moved on from your ex-girlfriend and you are now happy with... with whatever you think you are having, then that source of energy will be gone. You still need some sadness"

"Are you trying to punish me so I can keep having sadness?"

"No. I punish you because I want to punish you."

"What if I can punish you, too? What if I give you a lot of pleasure and then not give it to you again?"

He tries to kiss her. Nitte once again puts a finger on his lips to stop him. He starts kissing her hand.

"Ouch!" Jack yells.

Nitte pushes his face away really hard. "There is no way you can give me something that I don't already have." Nitte laughs, "You seem to forget, one of my superpowers is seduction. You've got nothing comparing to what I can do."

"You haven't even tried." Jack says.

Nitte closes her eyes, looking a bit impatient, "Gosh, don't be too happy about what we just did."

"Well then, don't seduce me again."

"Oh my gosh, I wasn't even trying to seduce you!" Nitte laughs again, "That is why I say, I am surprised you liked it so much. I didn't even do much. It was really the most basic for me."

Shit. Jack doesn't like Nitte probably thinks he is inexperienced now.

"Anyway. If you still want to learn to develop more super powers within you, I guess I'm going to have to find a way to create new sadness for you. Unless you will still feel sad for your ex-girlfriend."

"Why are you so weird." Jack says, touching her face.

"I'm not weird. You are the weird one. OK. I'm going to leave now." She gets up, putting her clothes on.

"Where are you going?"

"Back to Andyo's room, what do you think?"

Jack is already sad to hear that. Of course, she is just playing with him and she is going to hang around that dude. But what if she is just saying that to make him hurt and sad? Or she doesn't even know how that makes him feel?

"Do you really like him... that Andyo?" Jack asks.

"I like him for his skills. He is quite good with computer stuff. Keith just recruited a hacker. I have to keep up, too." She flips her hair.

"Do you consider me on your team?"

"I don't know. And if you are going to break your promise to me, I don't need you on my team. OK. Enough small talk for the night. Good bye." Nitte walks out of his room.

Jack, not dressed yet, follows her out of the room.

"Nitte, wait. I will do whatever you want me to do. In return, please, I don't want you to sleep with other guys anymore." Jack says.

"What?" Nitte scoffs, "You are so stupid."

"Will you think about it? Let's make a deal?"

Jack is surprised he says that. What are you doing, Jack? What has gotten into you? Don't promise her anything. Don't tell her you'll do whatever she wants you to do. You'll get yourself in trouble.

"Jack, I think you have enough things to worry about for now. But, I will come back around. I'm never really far away. Especially there is something I got from you." She winks, giving a mysterious smile.

"Oh yeah, what is it that you took from me?"

"Don't ever change, Jack. You are cute... sometimes." Nitte then opens the door and walks out of his apartment.

Jack stands there but he really has an impulse to chase after her. He wants to tell her to stay. It's late now. Spend the night in his room. Maybe he can ask her more about her background. And really, what has she even been doing? And when she is done talking with him, she can show him the other type of experience. But then that would sound like he is only asking her to stay because he wants to sleep with her one more time.

Then what do you want from her, Jack?

Nitte walks out. It's rare that she actually leaves Jack's apartment in human form. She feels like walking and not running away like a mouse today.

She walks slowly and she stops. Finally, she starts crying.

Jack is the only guy that ever says that to her-- that he doesn't want her to be with other men any more. That he will do whatever she wants him to do just to be exclusive with her.

But, she can't let Jack be too happy. Especially after tonight. Especially now that she thinks he is worth her effort to teach him more things. For Jack's sake, she has to make him sad. He still needs more energy to develop more powers.

Oh, and she will have plans for him. When the time comes, she will help him be on the right team.
