Making Friend
Mio pretend that he didn't know about Kominato, this way things will less awkward between them. They play until catch until Mio proposed to Furuya and Sawamura that he can catch for them if they want.
' You want to catch' Furuya tilt his head
' Why a guy like you want to catch all of sudden?
Sawamura cast a suspicious gaze. Only Kominato seems to notice the underlying meaning behind his word.
' Mio-kun can be play as a catcher? ' He ask in disbelief.
' I can, but I don't know if I'm skilled enough to make it as a catcher'
Mio didn't want to sound pretentious so he just answer it casually.
' Then let's go, this is my chance to throw before boss came back! '
Sawamura as usual the idiot he is readily accept. Mio gave Furuya a look and raised his eyebrow.
'Fine don't blame me if you're hurt'
Kominato shrugs and I gave them a light chuckle.

We headed to our usual place for play catch. I take my full equipment for safety and squat down.
' Who's equipment did you borrow? '
Kominato gave a peculiar gaze.
' I always have a catcher gear and equipment '
I state calmly. I call for Sawamura and let him do a light stretching before we start. I gave him a sign for fastball down in the middle. He look surprise but later laugh his ass off.
'HAHAHA This isn't a joke flower boy '
Sawamura do his windup and throw his pitch. Mio gaze was telling him to give him his all. The pitch was slow compare to Mio's but his weird form make it hard for batter to anticipate his timing. Mio catch the ball.
'....'
'How was it? HAHAHA you're rendered speechless by this soon-to-be ace right? '
'Ace' Furuya muttered and his aura intensifies
' Great throw, unfortunately that was ball'
'?!!'
'H-how come that was ball?'
Sawamura yell. Mio felt his eardrums gonna crack under sawamura disbelief shout.
'Eijun-kun you're too loud! '
Even the good nature Kominato complain the noise he make.
'I want down in the middle, but you can't even give me that'
I made a face to him. He flinched.

'It's okay you will improve so don't worry'
